Something The Libs Might Understand

No, no you don't. If you did you would know the government was deeply involved in creating the railway system (Pacific Railway Act). It wasn't just the magic of the free market that brought it down from heaven. Do we need more rail transportation to handle commerce? Seems like they are moving a lot of goods lately, so who's to say?

Yep, and that was how long ago? You know what is funny? Kittens playing with yarn.

The powers given to railroads have not been rescinded since those acts were put in place that provided the railways to get anything and everything they needed to get across the continent. It was a different time then, we were a much different country. It was not better but it definitely was not worse. Something like what happened then could not happen today. I liken it to the Gov giving power to Apple to be responsible for giving everyone laptops and unlimited power to do so.

But, I am to say. Freight by rail is the best way available currently. It is cheaper, more efficient and much more sensible then using highways. However, highways are taxed per vehicle and as far as I know railroads are still considered private property that cannot publicly be used. Of course, that has nothing to do with anything but I just like putting a bump in the road to throw your swirling logic off.

Of course, nothing I said in this post is about anything. It was mostly just to make you read it and make you reply.

Why not try this instead joyboy

farmersonly.com

I have looked at it, it's disappointing. Most of the girls are not farmers, just young dumb chicks looking for guys with big trucks, 4wheelers and cowboy boots.

Wait... I need to go back and look at that stuff again...my gf's at work...

Do you have any concern for the amount of money the Federal Government spends? If so by how much would you reduce spending annually and what would you like to see cut?

aw, c'mon.....you should know the answer to that. government spending = government jobs = good for the economy, so increased government spending = increased government jobs = even better for the economy. debt isn't an issue because everyone...individuals and governments alike all go into debt. with all of the wealthy people, CEOs, sports stars and a-list hollywood film stars to levy higher taxes on, added to the endless & bountiful revenue stream from the dwindling middle class, we have a virtually endless supply of cash with which to create even more government jobs and really get this economy roaring again.

This comparison is kind of insulting to Abbott & Costello,

but here is more "comedian" insight into Obama policy

COMEDIAN SENATOR: Website 'Improving Every Day'...

.

I'm seeing this new mantra from liberals: You can fix a website.

It's impossible to further illustrate just how divorced these people are from reality. But hey...you keep thinking that website is going to be good next week. Hell, even if it IS good next week, when people realize how much their insurance is going to cost, progressives will wish both the website AND the government were shut down again.

I'm making me some popcorn for this show.

The Obama administration didn't break that website or create a colossal abortion of a health insurance bill, someone else made that happen...

...like the GOP.

Yesterday on a radio show (can't recall which one) a Whitehouse or HHS official made a statement like "they are throwing more computers and more computing power at the problem which should fix it". What a well articulated and confidence boosting statement that was.
