Steve O Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Doesn't say what they gave up for him http://www.thefinsiders.com/blog/2013/report-dolphins-make-trade-with-ravens?_ga=1.165123195.597401300.1382400631
Pete Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I met Bryant McKinnie at a bar in Coconut Grove. One of the biggest human beings I have ever met
boyst Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I saw they had done this earlier in the day and I laughed. It's much too little and way too late.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 This is comical. The Ravens traded for a LT because McKinney was so bad for them. Now they unload their garbage on the Dolphins. Maybe Miami can coax Colin Brown out of semi-retirement to join their team?
Tsaikotic Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Doesn't say what they gave up for him http://www.thefinsid...1300.1382400631 update shows a late round conditional pick
CSBill Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Maybe Miami can coax Colin Brown out of semi-retirement to join their team? you win, line of the day!
NoSaint Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Not like McKinney flunked out of the probowl or has been arrested in Miami. He will work hard and not party there
BarleyNY Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 So Bryant McKinney has to go from Baltimore to Miami? Only one question remains: Party Bus or Party Boat?
NoSaint Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 So Bryant McKinney has to go from Baltimore to Miami? Only one question remains: Party Bus or Party Boat? Exactly. I'm quite ok with him being around their young players
DerekJ Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Exactly. I'm quite ok with him being around their young players LOL!
boyst Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Remember when we drafted Mike Williams and the big talk was which would turn out a better player? Sadly, neither have developed yet
The Big Cat Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I met Bryant McKinnie at a bar in Coconut Grove. One of the biggest human beings I have ever met But his life his love and his lady were the sea. Right?
atlbillsfan1975 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 This makes me think of the song 'Unanswered Prayers'. Boy how happy are we that Clabo 'used' the Bills to get a better deal with the Falcons??
Bill from NYC Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 (edited) Remember when we drafted Mike Williams and the big talk was which would turn out a better player? Sadly, neither have developed yet McKinnie more than held his own for a few years. The knock on him has been his lack of effort. Williams was a far worse selection than McKinnie. At this point, McKinnie is of course done. Edited October 22, 2013 by Bill from NYC
clayboy54 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I guess big brains don't necessarily go with big bodies.
RyanC883 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Remember when we drafted Mike Williams and the big talk was which would turn out a better player? Sadly, neither have developed yet Interesting that the top O-linemen in this years draft have been disappointing so far as well, although not to the Williams/McKinnie level.
947 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 McKinnie stuck around in the league for 13 years, has a Pro Bowl appearance on his resume, and a Super Bowl ring. He didn't live up to his draft status, but had a pretty solid NFL career. Mike Williams on the other hand was a complete bust in every sense of the word. The only reason that pick isn't talked about as the worst ever, is because Ryan Leaf & Jamarcus Russell being QBs makes them higher profile. The Bills waaaay overthought that one, and McKinnie should've been the pick (if they went OT).
tennesseeboy Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 McKinnie more than held his own for a few years. The knock on him has been his lack of effort. Williams was a far worse selection than McKinnie. At this point, McKinnie is of course done. all in all I clearly think McKinnie would have been the better choice for us.
