26TrapDraw
I say no because he leveraged us for a better deal in Washington. I don't know begrudge him that but if he wanted to be here he would of been. He's a heartless merc. No thanks
ProbablyWrong
Conditional 7th. He is 3rd string there. Low risk low reward and I am in.
26CornerBlitz
@mikerodak After hosting him on a free-agent visit in March, would the Bills consider trading for Redskins TE Fred Davis? http://es.pn/17e58HU
Boatdrinks
I would give a 7th for Davis. We are still kind of weak at TE and he may have something left. The trouble with the mindset of "wait until he gets cut.." is that it usually works for good teams, or any team that isn't the Bills. Most players will choose to go elsewhere if given any option. That is the sad reality when you've missed the playoffs for 14 years. Most of today's NFL players have only known this team to be a joke, as we are now so far removed from the glory years. Nitro
How about Tony Sheffler, cut by Detroit today? He is recovering from a concussion (occurred Oct 6th). The guy is a good pass catching TE, (258 catches in 107 games, 3,207 yards, 12 yards per catch and 22 touchdowns. He is not much of a blocker. Scheffler was Cutler's safety blanket In Denver. Worth a flyer.

Turbosrrgood
A player on a 1 year deal getting traded before the trade deadline almost never happens and certainly wouldn't be worth a 6th or 7th pick in the NFL. Its not the NHL, there isn't much of a rent-a-player market. Exactly this ^....Not to mention the fact that Davis has had trouble staying healthy, and hasn't done anything this year (3 catches). How could he possibly be worth anything in a trade?
