1billsfan Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 The Jets probably let him walk after his injury no mas playoff move. Let Jennings go and give that money to Abraham. We've got options for the line, Trey Teague to LT? Mike Williams to LT? Maybe our 2nd rounder will be a offensive lineman that could plug a hole. This team will not win with offense so lets make the defense the nastiest in the league.
duey Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 I don't want a player who is too much of a selfish kitty to play in his teams playoff games because he's afraid of getting hurt. Let him go to the Fish...a perfect team for a douchbag like him.
Bill from NYC Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 He will get as much money (or close to it) as Pace or Jones. Who would you prefer if they were all available?

I think that with JP taking controls the LT postion would get by with a pure run blocker like Williams.
Bob4Bills Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 To answer the threads' question, very nasty! If we can keep the middle pluggers on board and add a true pass rusher, then even Drew could win most games!!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 If the Bills can address the O-line AND get Abraham, fine. However the Bills had a decent defense that, although they couldn't close the deal in some games, is still young at some positions and still improving. The O-line needs to be addressed, and TE probably will have to be as well after Euhus and Campbell went down late in the season with ACL injuries, and thus likely won't help out much early this season, if at all. The Bills also need a new kicker before a guy like Abraham.
ch19079 Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 he will go to a team with alot of cap space and looking for a top DE. we arnt eather of those. nice to dram about, but not realistic.

The bad news is that it involves getting rid of Eric "stone hands" Moulds. There is nothing wrong with purging an overrated, overpaid, declining WR . . . when you have an adequate replacement. Problem is, the only proven WR on the roster besides Moulds is Lee Evans. So we'd have to do something about WR in free agency, even if it's just signing a guy for $3 million a year to be our possession receiver.
col_forbin Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 He is to expensive for our blood, and not sure he is worth what he will get from some team with a lot of cash.
