mannc Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I cannot believe he let him kick that That was bill cowher stupid It was questionable, but he is a very good kicker.
ofiba Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I think this board would implode if that call went against the Bills.
stevestojan Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 That was a horrible, horrible, call by the official. While it's in the rule book, he barely touched his linemans ass. I hate the pats, blah blah whatever. But I want to watch the better team win, or at least get a fair chance. That didn't happen.
section122 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 So many pats* apologists ITT. That was illegal and it actually got called. I'm shocked he had the cojones to make that call. Kraft, belicheat, and goodell will be having words with him! ;-) That was a horrible, horrible, call by the official. While it's in the rule book, he barely touched his linemans ass. I hate the pats, blah blah whatever. But I want to watch the better team win, or at least get a fair chance. That didn't happen. Your true colors are showing :-p

I like to think of it as a make up call for all the bogus penalties that have gone the cheatiots way
Prickly Pete Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I am hoping NE wins just because it helps Buf's wild card hopes. I think the Pats are gonna lose enough games, that the division will be up for grabs. They are beat up, and Brady is not the same guy he was before. I would much rather watch them suffer...

BuffOrange Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I can't handle Dan Dierdorff. Every Patriots incomplete pass comes with an excuse why it wasn't Brady's fault. He is a dink & dunk extrodinaire right now. Other than the last play last week I don't think he's thrown an accurate ball farther than 12yards downfield this year.
UpperDeck Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I like to think of it as a make up call for all the bogus penalties that have gone the cheatiots way Yeah, but why couldn't it happen when WE'RE playing them?
Golden Wheels Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Reading all the complaints by Patriots fans on twitter about this obscure rule being called is like reading the weather reports back home when you're on January vacation in the carribean. LOL BOO HOO
Livinginthepast Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 That was a totally bogus call. I hate the Pats so its good to see them get jobbed but at the same time how can the refs perceive that was cheating. I thought they called the Pats player for lifting up the guy in front of him to block the kick which is an old penalty. But they call him for pushing his own guy through? was that the actual call? Bizarre!
QCity Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I think this board would implode if that call went against the Bills. And it rightfully should. That was a terrible call, probably the worst call all year. And I love it lol.
LancasterSteve Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Yeah, but why couldn't it happen when WE'RE playing them? LOL the next time we get a call against the bellichiots that helps us win the game, will be the first time
MattM Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Anyone have a definition of the rule in question before declaring it a bad call? Big difference between a bad/blown call or no call and a good call that's not always consistently made IMHO....
Bob in STL Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 (edited) Say what you will about Rex, but the Jets are a very well- coached team , maybe more so than the Patriots. I don't think so. Attention to detail is not his strength at all. And it rightfully should. That was a terrible call, probably the worst call all year. And I love it lol. I love it! I go to New England twice a month on business and I have to say I have never seen such spoiled and arrogant fans in my life. I have been a lot of places too. Edited October 20, 2013 by Bob in STL
Saint Doug Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Belichek is going to beat that rookie Well, apparently it's a new rule for this year. I blame coaching for allowing it to happen.
MattM Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 If you look at the actual rule (there are PFT articles on it) the play was a textbook example of that penalty. No ifs, ands or "butts".... Just poor coaching....
Prickly Pete Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Losing Mayo was huge. He was the main man on that defense, and with Wilfork out they will be balancing on a fine line to succeed. The Pats are going to lose more games, and even if they make the playoffs, they won't go far.
