Green Lightning Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Good read. We need to find ways to stop giving games away. Still, doing what we have done with rooks and PS playing QB, young receivers and 3/4's of our secondary hurt is cause for some optimism.
MAGIC MAN Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 He panned the legend in the article, I know Kiko got burned a couple of times, but he was a beast most of game -- seems like most saw it that way as he is nominated again for rookie of the week ---
gomper Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 While I do enjoy Joe's breakdowns, he totally whiffed on Kiko. He is not to blame in any way shape or form. Jay Gruden outcoached the D. That's where the game was lost.
No Cease Fires Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 This is the problem I have with player breakdowns like we see from Joe B or Pro Football Focus. Unless the writer has access to the game plan or the playbook, there's really no way to accurately say how well or badly a player is doing his job. Sure you can see if he misses tackles or whatever but without their assignments you're really only seeing half the story.
TPS Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 He confirmed my hunch from a couple weeks ago that Branch makes a huge difference in the run D.
