VABills Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 I can't believe I am reading through the threads and see people saying that Dillon sucks and that A Smith was a better draft pick than Dillon. You guys are the same ones that believe that Travis is a better back than him, aren't you? Guys Dillon showed that he is a great back today, and sealed it in the 4th quarter. Wow, the general lack of football knowledge is overwelming.

checkmate Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 I wanted Dillon instead of A. Smith back then too.
VABills Posted January 17, 2005 Author Posted January 17, 2005 Thank God you're here!!! 208161[/snapback] Did you know that Corey Dillon has never lost a fumble in his career. He has had 25 otal, but his team has recovered all of them? Neat fact isn't it.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 Yeah, just like in the Bills game. Oh but wait, fumbles lost in reality versus the stat sheet only apply to Travis.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 I've seen him lose fumbles that were blown dead by the zebras. It's happened at least 3 times this year. Oh and IIRC, you said that a recovered fumble doesn't matter, because then Travis only lost 3 fumbles last year.

Me personally feel that Dillon is in the middle of the league on ball handling skills. Not as bad as Henry, Williams or Barber, but not as good as good as Martin or Holmes. I just thought it was interesting to hear that he has never lost a fumble. To me that is luck.
ROCCEO Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 lack of football knowledge overwhelming..... Christ, Stevie Wonder could see that.
