Rubes Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Wait, he won't get on the field until his hand is 100%? Where's the outrage?
ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 "I'm just working on strengthening it, opening and closing it," he said. "I'm also doing bone stimulation . . . And getting paid for it - - nice work if you can get it.
GG Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Ok, who didn't do a face palm over this quote? "You have to do a lot of things with your hands," he said. "You don't realize how much you use your hands as a receiver until something like this happens.
swnybillsfan Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 i am incredibly intrigued by goodwin, i think it's got a lot to do with the unfulfilled potential of roscoe parish. i really hope that nathaniel hackett is going to get a few plays designed specifically for goodwin.
3rdand12 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I like the kid too. Spiller , Goodwin and Graham can blow the top off. The trick for Nate is ...which one will catch the ball consistently enough to respect the long toss. Nate you hear me ?
John from Riverside Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Personally? Just bring him back and be the best special teams returner in the league.....the guy is amazing
mrags Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) Personally? Just bring him back and be the best special teams returner in the league.....the guy is amazing id be ok with this. If he became Dante Hall, Devin Hester, etc... I could care less if he ever catches a single catch. Edited October 9, 2013 by mrags

Charles Romes Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I think he touched the ball once this season. He got clocked, fumbled and was injured.
3rdnlng Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 He needs to be made a punt returner because kickoff returns are a thing of the past unless the rules are changed. Why even bother to kick it off? Just place it at the 20 yard line and shorten the game by a couple minutes. I guess this would give them less opportunities for commercial breaks though.

I guess this would give them less opportunities for commercial breaks though. i agree he should be full time punt and kick returner. I still think it's ridiculous that we don't have anyone on the team that can beat Leonard out for punt return duties. The guy wasn't even on our team until shortly before the season started. I don't have a lot of faith in Hackett and his ability to use our speed guys effectively, but maybe he's learning on the job and will have a few plays for Marquise when the time comes. We need more offense man. I would love to see Goodwin play in place of TJ Graham for a few games. It's not like TJ is productive, and Goodwin has some major upside.
8-8 Forever? Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Well, lets hope the team is healthy the second half of the season so we can see what we have. the first half of the season is just a mess of injuries and bad backup play. Guys like mario and kyle williams must be saying man, what is it with this team?
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 And getting paid for it - - nice work if you can get it. Lol, I got it...
EasternOHBillsFan Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I think he touched the ball once this season. He got clocked, fumbled and was injured. Roscoe Parrish like some say? I hope not.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Roscoe Parrish like some say? I hope not. Way to early to make that comparison. Also Roscoe was not the brightest bulb. I still remember back to the Saint sgame in 09 when the Bills where trying to do the hurry up before half and Roscoe killed the drive because he did not know where to line up.
HeHateMe Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Hacket doesn't even know how to use Spiller effectively even though there is a year+ worth of tape showing exactly how to use him. I hope he figures it out that you need to get these fast guys the ball in space.

I still loved that littl dumba$$. Always fun to watch for those 3 or 4 games a year before going on IR.
MyHorseAteTheKid Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 WGR says he is playing Sunday.. Hope it's true...
