mart Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 In the preseason, Marrone said he knew what the problem was with the knee but he would not say. Why not, what was the secret? Did he have the problem before the draft? Does anyone know? Did the problem contribute to this problem now? Will this be chronic throughout EJ!s career?
Hplarrm Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 No one knows for sure outside of Merrone and EJ (and perhaps some contractual insiders in the FO). However, this never stops us from having our fact-free opinions about this. Right now I am in trust but verify mode until we are mathematically eliminated and thus I am happy to assume that it is not a chronic issue or if it is they did not know about it before the draft.
mart Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 You mean the GM did!nt know or he is just not talking. I don!t recall Whaley saying a word about the present QB situation either.
8-8 Forever? Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 At 6 5 with long legs , EJ not gonna last long in the NFL if he keeps exposing himself to leg hits like that... i thought he was going out when his legs were taken out earlier in the game

EJ needs to learn to avoid hits, that's all.
todd Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I'm totally sure he was damaged goods. I mean, look at the facts! Look at all the news reports, and his injuries. I mean, clearly damaged goods because it wasn't the fact that someone ran into his knee, it was that that knee that was bent backwards by a Brown was already damaged goods. In the preseason, Marrone said he knew what the problem was with the knee but he would not say. Why not, what was the secret? Did he have the problem before the draft? Does anyone know? Omar Little Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Damaged goods? EJ's knee got !@#$ing crushed. He's lucky it wasn't a season-ending injury. Find me a QB who wouldn't have gotten hurt from that hit. 'Twas a rookie mistake to stay inbounds after picking up the first down.

BUNCH OF MULARKEY Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 There was a good still photo on the hit to ejs knee. He was lucky his foot wasn't planted or else his leg would have been snapped like a pretzel rod.
