Our players talking junk after losing makes them more legendary?

Am I missing something?

i'd rather talk smack than go in the locker with their tales between their legs. we need players with mean streaks. for the longest time we've had nothing but good 'ole boys on this roster.

i want some nastiness on this team. the Defense is coming around. the wins will come.

You're right, he should have committed seppuku at midfield. It would be the honorable thing to do.

I don't get it either. Someone clarify?

The full exchange was a lighthearted postgame conversation between Kiko and his college teammate and friend, TJ Ward. Kiko wasn't "talking trash" but he also wasn't going to give any ground to his friend. That's all.

It went like this:

Ward to Alonso: we're a better team though.

Alonso: we lost our QB.

Ward: we lost our QB too.

Alonso: I don't know, your offense is suspect.

Ward: it was a good game.

If you saw it in context he wasn't really talking junk. It was a post game conversation with his college teammate tj ward

You're trying pretty hard to be bothered by nothing--- especially if you saw it live in all it's innocuousness.

You'd rather Talk smack AFTER the game? That's the very definition of a loser.

Thank-you for this much needed context.
