Captain Hindsight Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Apparently the Browns are shopping WR Josh Gordon. I'd gladly give them a 2nd or better yet, Byrd for Gordon straight up. Isn't he one screw up away from a year long suspension? You don't help the team from the couch
KD in CA Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Sam Young looked the part but rarely performed up to expectations in the NFL. What happened to the guy that did well in college? Good luck to him. McClain is better suited to be an interior lineman backup. I honestly never thought he was that great in college. He was a late round pick for a reason.
xsoldier54 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Yes. Something they should've fixed in March they are attempting to do in October. Typical. Except that McClain wasn't available in March. He is now and they snapped him up.

All I Need is Hope Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Does anyone know if McClain could be a noticeable upgrade over Brown and Legursky? Any statements from Whaley or Marrone regarding expectations for him (strictly back-up or expected to compete for starting job?) As we've seen and Brown's grades reflect, it would be difficult for McClain to be worse.
