ALF Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 The Bills are already on the hook for Carpenter's full salary this year because he's a vested NFL vet who was on the roster as of week 1. Thanks, I did not know that. I learn a lot on this board.
SBUffalo Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 If Hopkins is still injured he can be put on IR. He'd still receive his full salary, so why would he or the NFLPA sue? Because the IR takes an opportunity away from Hopkins.
beggar13 Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 And the Bills just placed Hopkins on reserve, so that answers that question.
K D Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 good move. carpenter has been a pleasant surprise. but let's see how he does in the snow first. and then of course we can have a kicking competition next preseason to see who gets released
TheMadCap Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I like Carpenter, he's done well so far. My friend and I have been refering to him as THOR!!!
CSBill Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 IMO, IR Hopkins and keep Carpenter at this point in the season. prophetic
Johnny Hammersticks Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I like Carpenter, he's done well so far. My friend and I have been refering to him as THOR!!! He looks like Kid Rock's character from Joe Dirt.
