3rdnlng
However, the USA has more Indians answering support line telephones than there are in all of India! That's just unfair. With a practiced ear, I can understand 80% of the instructions I'm given from the guy in Pashdun Province. Shouldn't I have to suffer through an equal amount of attempted ebonics to get my cable tv back?
ExiledInIllinois
Speaking of jobs... I was just reading about the world's largest container ship... The Majestic Maersk, 1,312'x194'x48'... And it only takes a crew of 22 to run it. 20 have been ordered to be built. Still the Maersk E & Triple E Class vessels won't be able to fit in the New Panamax locks, 1,400'x180'x60', being built in @ the Panama Canal... Beam is just too wide. 22 crew... Imagine that... ExiledInIllinois
How many people do Data General, Digital Equipment, and Wang employ in the US? Actually, I knew two that worked for them. Digital & Wang... Both brother and sister-in-law (husband/wife). I think BiL works now for IBM but, it might be a subsidary. ??

ExiledInIllinois
And do they still work for Digital, DEC & Wang? No. I got your point... Just saying. Those were biggies @ one time! Yet, BiL actually works for something to do with IBM now.
