Armchair GM
Feel free to add to the list: 1.) Kiko Alonso = Stud 2.) Colin Brown looks like a log playing LOG. He is awefull 3.) Aaron Williams is a safety 4.) Hackett needs to cut the cord and stop with the ultra conservative "protect the QB" nonsense and let the kid go play ball. 5.) #4 directly effect how aggressive Pettine is/wants to be 6.) Manny Lawson = Stud 7.) Dareus is breaking out 8.) Woods is going to be fantastic 9.) Mario Williams is earning his paycheck 10.) Shawn Powell should be tarred, feathered, and ran out of town. PO'14
Mario, Dareus, K. Williams...We think their good, but the run defense is terrible. Maybe we need to reevaluate how good these guys really are?
mrags
Mario, Dareus, K. Williams...We think their good, but the run defense is terrible. Maybe we need to reevaluate how good these guys really are? really? They stopped Baltimore to almost no yards last week and didnt allow much this game considering. Teams all around the league give up rushing yards. It's inevitable. They played well enough to win last night. Get a grip.

Got to agree with most of the list, except for 5 - the banged up secondary is causing Petine to back off his aggressive defenses.

Maybe we need to reevaluate how good these guys really are? So what does us piling up 350+ yards against the #3 and #4 run defenses tell us about them?? Browns and Ravens averaged what, 3 YPC?? Big Turk
Wow. If you don't think our run defense has been stout the last two games... Just wow. Mcgahee barely averaged 3 YPC with 2 decent runs in there...was getting 1,2 and losses or no gains most of the night... Meanwhile our Oline was whooping ass again in run blocking

Agreed, just contributing factors. When you have an offense that opens things up and shows the ability to put up more points and get after it, then you can start taking calculated risks and be more aggressive on the D side of the ball. PLUS what you said.
