Bufcomments Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I always like when Cleveland plays Buffalo. It just sounds right in a weird way doesn't it? Bills vs Browns Now on the other had I hate the Dolphins so much I don't want to even play em anymore. And way should we have to travel down to sunny Miami every year.... oh yea warm weather I get it. We should be in the AFC North Bills , Cleveland, Steelers, Detroit, AFC EastCoast Pats, Jets, Giants , Philly AFC Southeast could be Titans, Ravens, Redskins, Panthers AFC South Miami , ATL, Saints, Tampa, NFC North Bears, Packers, Minny, Cinny NFC South Dallas, Indy, Rams, Texans NFC West 49ers, San Diego, Raiders, LA Jags, ( trust me on this one lol) NFC Mountain Denver , Seattle, KC , Cards what yall think ?
May Day 10 Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I agree I would rather see the Bills in a Great Lakes/Midwest/Rust Belt type division. I actually get more excited for Browns games than I do Dolphins, who really dont even feel like a Divisional game any more. AFC East Jets Giants New England Baltimore Washington Philadelphia Carolina London Central Bills Steelers Browns Bengals Colts Lions Packers Bears Vikings NFC South Atlanta Tampa Bay Tennessee New Orleans Miami Jacksonville Houston Dallas St Louis West 49ers Oakland Los Angeles Seattle San Diego Denver Arizona Kansas City
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 What happens after Ralph passes and the Bills move?
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I've been saying for years move Baltimore to afc east and bills to afc north
Orton's Arm Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 We share the same lake as Cleveland. Why don't we share the same division?
Malazan Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 We share the same lake as Cleveland. Why don't we share the same division? Stupid. That's why.
Wazzu Bill Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Why don't we get moved? Because the NFL needs a "Washington Generals"-like team for the Patriots to beat up on. Although in the next few years the tables will begin to turn. As soon as Brady starts his decline and Manuel starts his rise to fame
PromoTheRobot Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I've been saying for years move Baltimore to afc east and bills to afc north Same here. Makes total sense.
YoloinOhio Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Battle of Lake Erie! 70 miles away! I am having a Great Lakes Oktoberfest in the honor of the this game, and would love to get out of the flipping AFC East but without luck they would move us the year after Marcia retires.
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Good. A new division whe can't win in. Just what the Doctor ordered.
MDH Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 We should be in the AFC North Bills , Cleveland, Steelers, Detroit, You think the Bills get no attention/press now. Imagine if they were in your "Dying City Division?"
Nathan Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 (edited) Western New York doesn't really fit in with Massachusetts, New Jersey/NYC and Miami(!), does it? Edited October 3, 2013 by Nate128
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 You think the Bills get no attention/press now. Imagine if they were in your "Dying City Division?" Expansion team in Youngstown.
BRAWNDO Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 I've been saying for years move Baltimore to afc east and bills to afc north Same here. Makes total sense. It would be a very smart move
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 It would be a very smart move Imagine how good of rivalry we would develop with Cleveland and Pittsburgh just over 3 hour drive and even Cincy only about 7 hours. All have similar cities in cold outdoor stadiums. It would be great
Just Jack Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Not quite a new idea, it's been kicking around as far back as when they re-did the divisions, getting rid of Central and making North and South. Here's one thread from back in 2006... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/51626-time-for-the-afc-north/
Mike in Horseheads Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I know this is a old topic and Ralph didn't want to give up the two games with Miami BUT, with the bad blood after the Browns game wouldn't it be great to have a return game in Buffalo? Geographically it would make sense for Baltimore to be in the East and The Bills in the North (of course in NFL geography Dallas is in the East) and two games each year with Cleveland and Pittsburgh would quickly create new regional rivalry's. It also wouldn't hurt to get out of the shadow of the winning cheaters in Foxboro! :}.
Virgil Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Yes, completely agree and have felt that way for years. The drive for fans to division games makes it a no-brainer to me
ALF Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 That would be ideal, close enough to travel to away games in div , more sellouts
metzelaars_lives Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Nope. For one, the Bills, Pats and Jets have been AFL rivals since 1960. For two, the Steelers-Ravens were the best rivalry in football until this year. Plus you have the Ravens-Browns-Art Modell thing, which will never die. You're upset because Buffalo is a few hours closer to Pittsburgh and Cleveland (not really Cincinnati) than it is New York and Boston? Well a few extra hours drive and a few extra minutes on a plane does not trump rivalry. Just think how you'd feel if you were a Dallas Cowboys fan. The NFL divisions are absolutely perfect just the way they are.
