Peytons Neck Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 If the Browns come back down to earth after two victories (which I fully expect) do you think the firesale would be on? And if so how much do you think it would cost for Josh Gordon and maybe even James Cameron? Would you support the Bills making a move on either of these two players or anyone else on the browns? My best guess would be Gordon- can be had for a 2nd Cameron- my best guess would be a 3rd and a 5th.

Peytons Neck Posted September 30, 2013 Author Posted September 30, 2013 Usually teams that dump players dump veterans, not young players with cheap contracts. I know that but they have already made Gordon available publicly and while I doubt they would move Cameron they have made it known that the new coaching staff has no problem getting rid of players that the old front office brought in.
dezertbill Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 When your 0-2 you can pull off what they did with TR. Now 2-2, they would lose their fans forever if they decided to move young talented players on cheap contracts, especially on offense that are helping Bobby Hoyer. They aren't trading anyone anytime soon, unless they are a backup for a veteran who can't get on the field.
Armchair GM Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 SJ13 for Gordon, straight up...or, SJ13 and CJ for Gordon and a 2nd.
peterpan Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Have you seen Cameron out there? Dude is a STUD.
transient Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Think they'd trade us Hillis? I thought he was playing LG for Tampa Bay?

How on earth is a 3rd and a 5th going to return anywhere near the value that Cameron provides on the field? Gordon would easily fetch a 1st round pick+. His upside is astronomical and he's a WR in his 2nd season--- easily 10-12 productive years left in his career. It's pretty unlikely they'll trade him, anyhow. Edited October 1, 2013 by Punch
YoloinOhio Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Gordon, Weeden - Holmgren/Heckert picks, trading block Cameron, Mingo, et al - Banner/Lombardi, not going anywhere
BringBackFergy Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I thought he was playing LG for Tampa Bay? Try Center...get with the program buddy.
CardinalScotts Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Gordon is one more mistake from out of the league, he just got back from suspension and was going to host a party at a night club after the Bills game. I think the Browns squashed it- but just that he would think that he's fine doing that.
YoloinOhio Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 cameron was in the 2011 draft under holmgren My bad - totally thought he was a rook. But even the Brownies wouldn't be crazy enough to deal him. TEs like that are like gold.
CountDorkula Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 SJ13 for Gordon, straight up...or, SJ13 and CJ for Gordon and a 2nd.
mrags Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 i don't get the emotes on my phone so I will just agree with yours. Thank you.
Captain Hindsight Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 SJ13 for Gordon, straight up...or, SJ13 and CJ for Gordon and a 2nd. Seriously? He is one strike away from being gone for a year

Alphadawg7 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 cameron was in the 2011 draft under holmgren Who cares, there is not a chance in hell they will trade him
Dennis in NC Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Like Richardson. But maybe Richardson as the 3rd (?) pick in the draft had too big a contract for the new management team.
