GoBills! Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 @AlbertBreer: Fred Jackson says he suffered a slight sprain to his MCL, and that he'll be able to manage it and play Thursday.
HurlyBurly51 Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Meanwhile Byrd just had his wife fetch him a beer from the fridge.
Fixxxer Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Meanwhile Byrd just had his wife fetch him a beer from the fridge. and a bag of doritos.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 @AlbertBreer: Fred Jackson says he suffered a slight sprain to his MCL, and that he'll be able to manage it and play Thursday. Good thing because: @mikerodak Spiller says it may be "tough" for him to play Thursday following ankle injury today in win over Ravens

MattM Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Good thing because: @mikerodak Spiller says it may be "tough" for him to play Thursday following ankle injury today in win over Ravens Chris Brown posted that Spiller and Marrone think Spiller may be able to play Thursday, too. Here's hoping they're joined by McKelvin at least....
MDH Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I admire FJ more than an football player in the past 20 years. The guy is everything that is great about sports.
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 (edited) Good thing because: @mikerodak Spiller says it may be "tough" for him to play Thursday following ankle injury today in win over Ravens In Spiller lingo that means, I'm hurt, but I'll be able to tough through the pain and won't let a Plantar Fasciitis, I'm sorry, I mean an ankle injury stop me. Chris Brown posted that Spiller and Marrone think Spiller may be able to play Thursday, too. Here's hoping they're joined by McKelvin at least.... And Legursky... Thunderstealer Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Good thing because: @mikerodak Spiller says it may be "tough" for him to play Thursday following ankle injury today in win over Ravens Y'know it seems now after a good sample size, that CJ feels everything. Great players have that mind over matter ability like Sweetness before and Adrian Peterson today. I guess it's something you're born with.
MAGIC MAN Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 and a bag of doritos. I think he has a hang nail, so he's only 99.9% healthy, not quite 100% yet
K D Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Fred is the man and is my favorite player. One of the most underrated Bills of all time. The guy can do it all and doesn't quit. From DIII to team captain in the NFL. Truly an inspiration

BillsWatch Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Fred Jackson is the type of player who when he hangs up his pads you hope is offered a job in player development or another department.
KOKBILLS Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I admire FJ more than an football player in the past 20 years. The guy is everything that is great about sports. So true...Freddie will forever be one of my favorite Bills...Throughout all these crap seasons the guy has been game whenever he's healthy, he's a great leader, and just pure class...He's also pretty underrated as a football player...
vincec Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Jackson plays like a man who's never had anything handed to him and needs to work twice as hard as the next guy for half the respect.
Nitro Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Jackson plays with a passion of a guy who was never handed anything. He had to claw and scratch his way just to get a shot to play in the NFL. Once there, he has worked his butt off to be the best that he can be. CJ has natural talent but needs to learn from Fred on how to be a Pro RB. They make for a nice 1 - 2 punch. I think Choice will get more touches Thursday.
John from Riverside Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 To be perfectly honest I hope the bills are smart and use a healthy dose of Choice....who didn't look bad out their today either......do NOT create a situation where we lose either of these backs for the year because forced them to play injured. LOTS of football left to be played after THurday
