BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Pettine is the key to the future success of the Buffalo Bills. Pay this man.
buffalobillsfansince1918 Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Bills won. Here come all the yahoos.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 29, 2013 Author Posted September 29, 2013 (edited) Pettine is the true difference maker to this staff. It's not Marrone. It's not Russ Brandon. Certainly not Hackett. We can't let Pettine walk to become a headcoach on a different team. Edited September 29, 2013 by BuffaloBillsForever
K D Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Bills won. Here come all the yahoos. Barely won because of Pettine's D. Hackett's offense did everything they could to lose this one. 5 int's and we only get 23 points? 3 points in the 2nd half? Yikes they better figure it out
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 29, 2013 Author Posted September 29, 2013 The only reason we have been in everyone of these games has been to Pettines coaching and the defense.
buffalobillsfansince1918 Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 BILLS WON, EXTEND BUD CARPENTER
p.cooldude Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Pettine is leagues better than Wannstedt. They need to get Pettine to stay here longer than Wannstedt did.
Jamie Nails Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 What's the score? Zero, zero. Who is winning? The Bears.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 29, 2013 Author Posted September 29, 2013 Pettine is leagues better than Wannstedt. They need to get Pettine to stay here longer than Wannstedt did. Unless you give Pettine a large raise, he surely will be gone after this year to become a HC.
BillnutinHouston Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I liked Hackett's play calling early. He seems to be willing to adjust. Bottom line if you can beat Flacco and Harbaugh you have to be happy. Unless you give Pettine a large raise, he surely will be gone after this year to become a HC. Huh?
Bangarang Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Unless you give Pettine a large raise, he surely will be gone after this year to become a HC. Says who? Why wouldn't he get a shot at a HC job after having top 5 defenses with the Jets?
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 29, 2013 Author Posted September 29, 2013 I liked Hackett's play calling early. He seems to be willing to adjust. Bottom line if you can beat Flacco and Harbaugh you have to be happy. Huh? When Pettine gets offer to interview to become a HC, you give him an offer he can't refuse. That's my point. You have to keep Pettine here.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Yeah, that Pettine defense looked great against the offensive juggernaut of the NY Jets. Wait... Kidding aside, I'm thrilled about how they did today. With the 3rd corner and Aaron Williams converting back to CB, they managed to get FIVE picks. But I'm not willing to anoint Pettine the savior until this is consistent.
MDH Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 When Pettine gets offer to interview to become a HC, you give him an offer he can't refuse. That's my point. You have to keep Pettine here. Yeah, I'm sure he'd take a little more money to be the Buffalo Bills DC than to be a HC somewhere else...
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Pettine is the key to the future success of the Buffalo Bills. Pay this man. he helps but the QB is the key. Hopefully we don't end up like the Jets with a good team and an average QB.
p.cooldude Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Unless you give Pettine a large raise, he surely will be gone after this year to become a HC. I'm not sure if someone will scoop Pettine up after one good season. But, I would stop saying Ralph is cheap if he gives him a raise to stay here.
CSBill Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 No doubt, he is the MVP of the coaching staff after four games. Hackett's play calling was smart today, at least for 3 1/2 quarters--and that is improvement.
Fixxxer Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Barely won because of Pettine's D. Hackett's offense did everything they could to lose this one. 5 int's and we only get 23 points? 3 points in the 2nd half? Yikes they better figure it out I disagree, I liked today's gameplan, helping a young QB with a good running game and taking advantage of PA. It was EJ's bad fundamentals that made the offense look bad. He has tons of talent but he needs to work on the little things that make a QB a great one.
