Was he really ever that good at press man coverage? Just a question. He spent most of his career in cover 2 type defenses right? Now at his age it's probably even more of a stretch. Besides the fact that he undoubtedly doesn't want to come play for a team that is perpetually rebuilding.

This is a full-on rebuilding year, and the CB's that are injured will be returning soon. I'm more worried about finding solutions to problems that might be long term. Like an O-lineman, Manuel's development, and getting the the offensive scheme tuned up.

I think he would rather stay retired then play for Buffalo. It's sad, we used to play a team a veteran would play for, with the hope of winning the Super Bowl. With Winfield we might go 6-10 without with 1-15. Justin Rodgers is that bad
