ALF Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Losing Levitre, Rhinehart, Hairston out, not keeping OL coach Joe D' could get EJ and CJ injured bad.
RyanC883 Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 I think the overall problem is the front office's refusal to get depth at the O-line and in the secondary. They did draft secondary help, but if you draft a rookie QB, you HAVE to be able to protect him and run the ball. Did they think they could let Levitre AND Reinhart walk, and have adequate depth. The lack of a veteran FA pickup when so many were available may be the downfall of the team this year. Living in Pittsburgh I'm looking forward to the Bills v. Steelers game. I think if you combined both teams O-lines you still would not have an adequate NFL line. There will be over 14 sacks combined that game, with about 4 INTS's. (3 from Ben, one from EJ). Luckily, EJ does not turn the ball over with the absurd amount of pressure he faces.

The only player they should have kept was rhinehart. Levitre got way overpaid. And for coaching, I am not worried about that. We have a good oline coach and it is a specialty of marrone's. All they need is to stablize the guard position and the line will be fine
