RussellDopeland Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 So the boat is taking on water. Instead of trying to plug the holes, and bail the water out of the boat, the Bills are focused instead on whether or not the boat should be repainted? My guess is that "more to come" probably means they're going to look at punters and middle linebackers.
YoloinOhio Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 I can't read the article who are the 4 They only provided 3 names:Some of the players they worked out were: John Conner – FB – The Terminator was a former New York Jets full back who was an amazing run blocker for the Jets running game over the past several years. Quinn Johnson – FB – The former Green Bay Packer worked out for the Bills today as well, Johnson is a big guy as well who runs extremely hard. Zach Boren – FB – Was formerly on the Houston Texans practice squad. Boren was the lead blocker at “THE” Ohio State University. I am being told that the Bills will have several others working out later on today, but this morning was a fullback work out. (From the article in link above)

YoloinOhio Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 Well maybe they are trying to make the running game work with a FB on the field along with RB. My thought as well... Frank Summers likely not cutting it. They really seem like they want to make the running game work, and with our 2 talented RBs I don't blame them.
White Linen Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Dude. If only Hillis was available Even if he was no one wants to play here.
Big Turk Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Dude. If only Hillis was available He is.

JTO Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 How about Syravuse TE Provo? He can be converted into a FB.
RyanC883 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Something they should've considered back in March, but here we are again, dumpster diving in September. Classic OBD. Agreed. Too cheap to pick up any O-line depth when it was available.
MOFO Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Well there ya have it...an internet writer said it. It doesn't matter anyway, he plays for the Bucs. Very funny.....In best Bugs Bunny voice- not again.... Edited September 24, 2013 by MOFO

KOKBILLS Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 A friend who is a Vikings fan said he can still tackle better than most of the league but can't really cover anymore. Can't cover compared to the rest of the NFL? Or can't cover compared to Rogers?...There is a wide difference there...
YoloinOhio Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 Can't cover compared to the rest of the NFL? Or can't cover compared to Rogers?...There is a wide difference there... compared to better corners. But he won't come out of retirement to play for us... he specifically chose Seattle in the offseason because he wanted to a SB contender. They didn't need him because they are an embarrassmnet of riches so he retired. On paper he was cut so he could collect the million dollar guarantee he had. Since he was in their camp until the end of PS I can see him signing with someone since he is in football shape, but it wouldn't be with us.
