I'm sorry, but why Fullbacks? We all saw our depleted cornerback group, plus the lack of talent thereof.

The front office should be bringing in any & all veteran corners to see what we can do to improve.

If we weren't so thin at corner, I believe Rogers would have been cut Monday morning.

The article said there were more players coming in today but that was just the fullback group that was in this morning.

I'm going to supress the inital thought that the front office and this coaching staff is trying to out-think the room by getting cute holding fullback workouts while more apparent needs are not having workouts.

Are we going to run the wishbone offense on Sunday versus the Ravens? (arguably that would be VERY cool.)

The best fullback in the league wouldn't have stopped half those sacks last Sunday.

What I wouldn't give for the Bills to coax Winfield out of retirement. Guy is still better than anyone on the Bills not named Gilmore.

"You can never have too much veteran depth at fullback," said no coach.

hahahah. Wouldn't mind one, but odd its the first group they bring in. They really need more O-line depth.

I for one am happy the FB is finally being addressed. Maybe now all of our running plays won’t start from shotgun.

Also, I think we should sign Payton Hillis (at least for a week anyways) so that he can have a chat with Byrd the turd and let him know that he really needs to get his a$$ on the field or risk his career going in a downward spiral.

Awesome.

Doug Whaley's to-do list:

1) Try out a dozen FB's, and decide to stick with Summers, but deactivate him for the games.

2) Cut Dan Carpenter, or keep him, but ask him to trim his mullet?

3) What to do about our long-snapper? Can we bring in some more competition for Sanborn? Need to always look to get better at LS!

4) Lunch

A friend who is a Vikings fan said he can still tackle better than most of the league but can't really cover anymore. But still.... I hear you.

Does he go home after lunch?

So he's a Rogers who can tackle? I'm sold.

We need a blocking fullback to ward off all those onrushing defensive linemen and give Manuel time to pass? I've got an idea...why don't we get some actual offensive linemen to hold them up a bit at the line of scrimmage?

I can't read the article who are the 4

Icky Woods, Earl Campbell's nephew's college room mate, Doug Whaley's Fantasy Football league commissioner and Carwell Gardner
