Kemp Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Yes, Geno had more time to throw but boy is he more accurate so far. Pocket presence might get better for both of them but accuracy usually does not change much.

Also, EJ's QB rating is about 20 points higher. Worst mistake in evaluating a young player is overreacting to one game.

With QBs more than any other position, I will never understand that. I once heard a NFL personnel guy (maybe have been Polian) say "As a QB, you are what you are by year 3." Good or bad. Not GAME 3!

Have you seen Kaepernick and RG3 this year? BUSTS!!!
YoloinOhio Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Have you seen Kaepernick and RG3 this year? BUSTS!!! Yes - and neither are busts nor are they HOF players. They are 2nd year QBs (Kap is basically that). It is combination of injury recovery on RG3's part and the time defenses have had to learn how to defend them. Good QBs with good coaching will learn how to adapt to this and continue to get better. Kap is on a good team so he'll probably make his way out of his slump. RG3 has a terrible defense, and I can see him having a tough year. Ultimstely everyone will say Russell Wlson is so much better, but that's because he is on the best team in the league. I like Wilson, but he is also in the right situation to succeed.
