Long time Bills fan, thoughts on a trade that could land a top 10 pick. Trade byrd to Redskins for a 1st round pick. That would give the bills 2 top 10 picks to get a stud left tackle move glenn to guard and get a pass rushhng linebacker.

If you owned a franchise, would you trade a top 10 pick for a disgruntled Byrd who is currently not even playing due to injury and could very well just walk away at the end of the season for nothing in return?

The answer you're looking for is no, you wouldn't. And no other team would either. The Bills don't have good luck and walk away from trades with the best deal.

I'm sure you've done all this in Madden since this is the only place it would work...an injured player with a chronic condition playing on a one year deal is not going to fetch a 1st round pick, especially not a safety...

The Redskins would they have the worst defense and already stated that this year was super bowel or bust and their pass defense is worse than the bills.they are looking for answers and synder is always willing to throw away money

To old to play Madden

This isn't working well either

If this happens, I'd do cartwheels.

If we trade Byrd and use the pick to trade up from 7 and 9 to 4 to draft a LT with plans to kick Glenn inside I will not do any cartwheels.

So, you mean the Redskins' 2015 first round pick?

Because, of course, they traded the 2014 first rounder in order to get RG III.

"In the deal, the Rams will receive the Redskins' No. 6 overall pick this year, as well as the Redskins' first-round picks in 2013 and 2014"

Of course more important than the double talk of Super Bowl or bust and it being a top ten pick

It makes no sense to move Glenn to guard. He is a high pick and if he pans out into a great guard he will demand a high salary and the Bills will probably let him walk via free agency because they don't pay guards big money. Better to leave him at tackle and give him every chance to make it there. Bills need to find a decent, not all pro, LG that they can pay a reasonable salary- see Kraig Urbik.

Agreed. If you have a guy playing well at a valuable position (LT), why move him to a less valuable position (LG)? That would be a waste of Glenn's ability. If the Bills obtain a top-10 pick, it would make much more sense to use the pick on a pass rusher than on a LT.
