this could be accurate. I hadn't considered that. it was very close, why not sling it either way? but yeah you could be right....

No play called, no protection scheme, and a blitz heavy defense. Also, they were 92 yards from the end zone.

I said the same thing above so maybe we were on to something...get microscopes in here to tell us what really happened.

Yeah... Then just heave it. Maybe hope for a penalty on the D. Even if it is a late hit on the QB, you know how the league is.

no one was running routes. it was a dead play.

Maybe he had the Bills in a super teaser and realized the chances of success with no play called and no time left were far outweighed by the chances the Jets would score a defensive TD and blow the 13.5 spread....just saying.

Of all the things to criticize the Bills about for this game...

Really? IMO, it is understandable. You don't want to see your team quit like that. I know, the situation warranted it... BY what ND said... Fair enough. Yet, it does leave an empty feeling in your stomach when it has to end like that. No matter how irrational it seems to take that knee.. It was most likely the best thing to do... Live to fight another day. BUT, as a fan... That is so hard to accept. It is like being called a surrenderer!

I just watched the ending on Game Rewind. EJ did kneel down but he also put the ball on the ground. I doubt it was giving up. Maybe he got confused and he thought taking a knee would stop the clock. It the grand scheme of this game this isn't even worth discussing.
