flutie5 Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 I don't know why but the bills always played their worst in New Jersey. They will bounce back I believe it, we have rookie quarterback, coach on offense and defense along with our head coach.
Bills Fan888 Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 T-Jax would've been ideal to have start while EJ stays on the bench until he's ready.
Meatloaf Sandwich Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 It will be an ugly year as EJ learns. Deal with it. That said we'd be 3-0 with FItz. Fitz would have lost the Jets game in the first quarter.
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 This ridiculous thread aside, I think EJ is a big enough boy that it's actually good for him to have these difficult games and learn from them. I am fully prepared to accept a year where that is the scenario, as long as he shows some steady improvement. Forest for the trees and such. I would hope you would all take 1986 again knowing that 1988 and the subsequent years would follow.
run dat back Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 The "E" in E.J. stands for Exposed Gee, anyone would think he's a rookie or something.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 T-Jax would've been ideal to have start while EJ stays on the bench until he's ready. Maybe the browns will trade Weedon for a third
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Maybe the browns will trade Weedon for a third Hell, I'll bet Chris Weinke is available if we want a senior citizen prospect.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Johnny Football sounds good to me but we wont do that bc we have a QB. But it's perfectly fine when you have stud RBs from Henry-Willis-Lynch-fred and CJ. Hell, I'll bet Chris Weinke is available if we want a senior citizen prospect. yes!
Thirdborn Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Honestly, after 13 freaking years it is more like "worst 'TEAM' in the world." Us fans are damned good all things considered. Can't blame a man for skepticism at this point. I have lived in Seattle for 20 something years, from Buffalo. I can't get behind the Hawks even though they're awesome ....... They could win the superbowl, and I'll still feel empty as long as the Bills keep losing
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Please don't eat paint chips, people. Too late. The paint chips were et up 10 years gone by and the brain cells already done died.
DC Tom Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 This is stupid, even by the preternaturally low standards of this board's post-loss posts. So I voted for Tebow, because !@#$ you, that's why.
peterpan Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Why wasn't Geno Smith an option? He looked like an NFL QB today. EJ just lookeds like a big athletic guy.
Dorkington Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 For better or worse, EJ is our guy for at least a couple years. Terrible game today, but I won't let it define him. Geno is clearly a more talented QB, but makes bone-headed mistakes. EJ has a better head on him, but isn't very accurate.

We should have just stuck with Fitz drafted someone like Jones or Nassib and then get a one this spring. I like Manziel, Boyd and Bortles, I really haven't seen Bridgewater but he supposed to be good.
Leelee Phoenix Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 They have to ride with EJ for the rest of the year, no matter what at this point.

Should have rode it out with Fitz and set themselves up for 2014. Instead we reach for a 3rd round talent in any other draft. At least we traded down and picked up Woods, who should make a nice target for the next qb. I like bridgewater, manziel, hundley and boyd in that order. Edited September 23, 2013 by TheBrownBear
