Boludo Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 (edited) The Bills no huddle wasted 40+ seconds of clock, resulting in giving the Jets 0:52 instead of 0:10. The Jets converted this to points before the half in a close game. I know there is a lot that went wrong today, but this is not the first time we've seen this sort of clock mismanagement. Very frustrating. Buffalo Bills at 01:41 1-10-BUF 25(1:41) 3-E.Manuel sacked at BUF 17 for -8 yards (96-M.Wilkerson). 2-18-BUF 17(1:20) 3-E.Manuel pass short right to 13-S.Johnson to BUF 26 for 9 yards (31-A.Cromartie). 3-9-BUF 26(1:00) 3-E.Manuel pass short right to 13-S.Johnson to BUF 31 for 5 yards (20-K.Wilson). Timeout #2 by NYJ at 00:52. What the heck is going on? Edited September 23, 2013 by Boludo
bills44 Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 IMO, after the 1st down sack, they should have milked the clock.
HeHateMe Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 IMO, after the 1st down sack, they should have milked the clock. This is what good teams quickly realize, at that point you are preventing the opposition from points... That's it. And again they gave up points.
Boludo Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 IMO, after the 1st down sack, they should have milked the clock. thats what im sayin that strategy decision is super clear even to casual fans surely nfl coaches are aware of game situation right? why are they doing that?
Wagon Circler Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Marrone has to reign in Hackett and this constant no-huddle crap. It should be done in spots. Not all the time.
Nuncha Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Pure stupidity. These clowns have no business being NFL coaches. They better grow up fast.
DE Bills Fan Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 I was thinking the same thing, and this is NOT the first time that this happened. I was concerned about the Marrone hiring and still have those concerns. Seems overmatched at times....
