Big Turk Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Not hanging on to Levitre was unfortunate but understandable, not finding a decent guard to play in his stead is inexcusable. If Nixy is right about tackles that don't cut it can still be good guards, there has got to be a bubble tackle out there they could move inside. The general lack of roster moves to adjust to injuries is puzzling. They have not even used the IR spot that can be designated to return. At some point they need to deal with Byrd. It's really hard not to be suspicious of a month long now, "day to day" undiagnosable injury in the midst of this contract peeing match. I was shocked they let Levitre go and then didn't sign Rhinehart to an extension(that is if he didn't tell them no), considering he was very solid in fill in work for Urbik... Would have been orders of magnitude better than Brown... Edited September 24, 2013 by matter2003
bmur66 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Rhinehart may have even been gone before Levitre. I wonder how he is doing this year. Edited September 24, 2013 by bmur66
Big Turk Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Rhinehart joined the Chargers along with his OL coach and assistant OL coach from the Bills last year...saw he injured his foot against Tennessee, not sure how serious it is... Edited September 24, 2013 by matter2003
....lybob Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 If there one thing Doug has taught us it's that O-line continuity is unimportant LOL Bring back mike Jasper snatch him off the Carolina practice squad - he might be as bad as Brown but at least he's interesting
