That's great BUT if we continue to keep cutting our Military, that won't be possible for too much longer. I wonder if the F22 was burning "green" jet fuel?

 

I'm surprised it was in the air at all. But then, it probably works real well in the desert, where there's no rain to damage it.

Where in the hell do they get parts for Viet Nam era F-4's?

 

Germany. If they don't build their own - after the Shah fell, Iran had to fall back on their own resources to support their American-made equipment, and over time they've developed a surprisingly capable industry.

So THAT's why we had those thousands of Persian engineering students studying here in the 70s and 80s, each with a $10,000 a month expense account.
