Marv's Neighbor
That's great BUT if we continue to keep cutting our Military, that won't be possible for too much longer. I wonder if the F22 was burning "green" jet fuel?
dib
I'll bet the Iranian pilot piddled in his g-suit.
Chef Jim
“He [the Raptor pilot] flew under their aircraft [the F-4s] to check out their weapons load without them knowing that he was there, and then pulled up on their left wing and then called them and said ‘you really ought to go home,’” Gen. Welsh said. How did he get their number?

DC Tom
That's great BUT if we continue to keep cutting our Military, that won't be possible for too much longer. I wonder if the F22 was burning "green" jet fuel? I'm surprised it was in the air at all. But then, it probably works real well in the desert, where there's no rain to damage it. “He [the Raptor pilot] flew under their aircraft [the F-4s] to check out their weapons load without them knowing that he was there, and then pulled up on their left wing and then called them and said ‘you really ought to go home,’” Gen. Welsh said. How did he get their number? Seriously? Emergency freq, most likely.

DC Tom
Where in the hell do they get parts for Viet Nam era F-4's? Germany. If they don't build their own - after the Shah fell, Iran had to fall back on their own resources to support their American-made equipment, and over time they've developed a surprisingly capable industry. Nanker
So THAT's why we had those thousands of Persian engineering students studying here in the 70s and 80s, each with a $10,000 a month expense account.
