Doc Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 After the game against the Patriots, EJ said his knee felt sore. Did he say anything about it this past week?
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 nope. you'll have to look for the knee brace bulge.. late game in NJ you should be able to see the game on TV
Meatloaf Sandwich Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 He has been wearing the brace under his uniform the past 2 weeks. So the coaching staff is still concerned enough. EJ has said in pressers he feels great.
CherryCoke Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 (edited) EJ was on PFT Live on Tuesday (9/17) and Florio asked him about it... Florio: You had arthroscopic knee surgery in the preseason, any lingering issues? are you at 100%, completely good to go? EJ: Yeah 100%, completely good to go Here is a link to the audio....EJ doesn't come on until about 3/4 the way though. Its worth a listen http://profootballta...uel-pft-planet/ Edited September 20, 2013 by CherryCoke

Its worth a listen http://profootballta...uel-pft-planet/ He said the same thing right before the Pats game, and then after the game said it was sore. I think it's smart to say before a game that you are 100% and no limitations and ready to go so your opponents don't go after your injury. But that doesnt mean he is actually 100%. I first thought that EJ was telling it like it is but the admission of soreness, and saying "you are never really 100%" right after his first game, when he wasnt hit a lot, made me rethink it.
Dorkington Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 To be fair, the Pats game was his first game back, and probably the most work he's put in since surgery (especially getting hit and all that). I don't think it's any big news that he had some soreness following the game. It'd be big news if it were sore still, though.
