Johnny Hammersticks Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 One of my first shows was BB at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse. I think I was like 13 or 14. Incredible.
Chef Jim Posted September 18, 2013 Author Posted September 18, 2013 One of my first shows was BB at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse. I think I was like 13 or 14. Incredible. I was the Chef at the Hollywood Athletic Club at Universal City Walk in LA and BB King's was right next door. I'd give the guys at the door dinner at the HAC and they'd let me in for free whenever BB played. It was so cool. The HAC was a Billiard Club and I had a standing invitation for BB when he played there to come over and shoot some pool. Never took me up on it.
Chef Jim Posted September 18, 2013 Author Posted September 18, 2013 Is BB King overrated? Buy some people? Sure.
DC Tom Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Buy some people? Sure. I'd like to. Let me know when Scarlett Johansson's on sale.
