mrags Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 It looks like halftime actually. The WoF podium is headed out to midfield. yeah it looks like dehaven this. Was halftime. That's why Andre was walking out on the field (without his WOF jacket of also add)
PTS Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 (edited) Video was obviously taken at half time so my guess is Steve Smith was referring to Steve Johnson getting smoked. Not sure what Smith says first but he definitely ends with "Better go talk to his ass to get into the f--ing weight room". Edited September 16, 2013 by PTS
ndirish1978 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 It looks like halftime actually. The WoF podium is headed out to midfield. yeah it looks like dehaven Really? Andre says he's going to look for Stevie. Wouldn't Stevie be headed to the locker room at halftime and wouldn't Andre have a ceremony to be headed to?
Dean Cain Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Dude was a punk & Leodis totally won the head game with him.
OCinBuffalo Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 (edited) "What are you looking at?" guy could very easily end up as part of a meme. Steve Smith told Andre Reed Unfiltered "McKelvin that pressed up on that slant, better go talk to his ass, get him in the F'ing weight room" Translation: "McKelvin owned me most of the game, and I didn't like it, so I'm gonna talk schit about one play." Edited September 16, 2013 by OCinBuffalo
BrooklynBills Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 It sure looks like dehaven. He also gives a slight smile after he says "what are you looking at?" Would make sense because he would definitely know Andre on some level from the 90s. And Steve Smith may just talk like that. I don't think he was talking trash and he wasn't even really confrontational.
TallskiWallski83 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 without any context this video is worthless.
Peter Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Sounded like Smith was talking about the white guy who asked "hey, what're you looking at?" not Andre. That white guy was Bruce DeHaven (I think).
BrooklynBills Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 and a brief google search shows that Andre reed and steve smith know each other on some level and Andre attended a charity benefit for Steve Smith's Samaritan's Feet charity back in January. And that charity had an event the Saturday before the game and its very likely that Andre was there as well.
Peter Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 (edited) P.S. FWIW, I heard on WGR this morning that Steve Smith actually was at a charity event in Buffalo on Saturday night. It seems like he is a pretty decent guy to be at a charity event in an opposition city the night before a game. Edited September 16, 2013 by Peter
BrooklynBills Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 and smith definitely says, "you better go talk to his ass to get in the weight room." wasn't stevie johnson criticized heavily for claiming on the Jim Rome Show that he doesn't work out in the offseason?
Gugny Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 and smith definitely says, "you better go talk to his ass to get in the weight room." wasn't stevie johnson criticized heavily for claiming on the Jim Rome Show that he doesn't work out in the offseason? Perhaps ... but didn't Stevie Johnson have twice as many yards as Smith yesterday? In a win?
eme123 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I translated it as "Is that your your boy pressed up against me in that slot? You better talk to his ass and get him in the weight room"
Juice_32 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I'd actually like to see Stevie hit the weight room. I agree with him. I don't think this was as confrontational as first thought.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I think I would delete this thread quickly. Because if Steve Smith finds out about this, he is coming after you. That little dude is straight insane. I saw a tweet yesterday that Smith was trying to find 8 Bills so it was a fair fight. Imagine Smith's personality in Mario's body. He would rule the world.

Webster Guy Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 He got schooled by Leodis and wasnt feeling up to his usual upbeat, articulate, good sportsmanship showin, humble self out there.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 he's gotta be talking about a CB. "pressed on that slant?" McKelvin? Someone else Stevie beat on a play? or maybe he's talking about stevie getting pressed up in the slot. maybe because he's being covered by LBs sometimes in the slot?
Russ 'Em Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 He asked who andre was looking for and he told him Stevie, then Steve Smith tells him that he should tell that mother fer to get in the weight room.
