Simon Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Eric Wood and Manny Lawson. They've both been great in both games and we haven't heard hardly a peep about either.
Bangarang Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Collin Brown had another stinker but as a unit this o-line is exceeding expectations.
Simon Posted September 16, 2013 Author Posted September 16, 2013 I'd give a vote to Cordy Glenn as well Yeah, we haven't heard much about him either. And he's blocking a lot of people. He's in.
Virgil Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Lawson really has been a stud. Couldn't be happier with that acquisition at this point
DJasper Probincrux III Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Lawson really has been a stud. Couldn't be happier with that acquisition at this point He gets to the ball in a bad mood. Some really nice pops on RBs the last 2 weeks.
Rubes Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I thought the offensive line as a whole did extremely well in both games so far, especially considering they were up against two very good defensive lines.
BillsBytheBay Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I thought the offensive line as a whole did extremely well in both games so far, especially considering they were up against two very good defensive lines. ah, very true. Two of the best front sevens in football imho.
Mark Vader Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Lawson really has been a stud. Couldn't be happier with that acquisition at this point I remember some people on the board not being to pleased when we signed him. Pointing out the lack of sacks he gets, not realizing how good he is against the run. I think after these two games he has shown how big of a signing he's been.
Dennis in NC Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Did Star Lotulelei play today? I do not recall hearing his name once during the game. So Wood (and the guards) must have done a hell of a good job today. Lotulelei caused havoc in the previous game. Today... nothing.
Special K Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I remember some people on the board not being to pleased when we signed him. Pointing out the lack of sacks he gets, not realizing how good he is against the run. I think after these two games he has shown how big of a signing he's been. Well said. I, for one, was excited about the signing of Lawson. Definitely good against the run, and knows how to lay the lumber on the RB when he gets the chance.
NFLBighits Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Don't Forget Robey he has a nose for the football and has played extremely well and this team is turning the corner and brings tears to my eyes as we have been threw some tuff times, So God Bless the Bills Nation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
KRT88 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I'd give a vote to Cordy Glenn as well This guy has been fantastic so far. Screw moving him inside, he's a LT and a really good one
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Lawson isn't going to light up flashy numbers, but I can't think of anyone else I want out there stopping the run.
machine gun kelly Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 The O Line has been excellent this year. We're giving EJ more time than in years past. It felt that way the first game when I was there, but really had a chance to focus on it yesterday.
sjjr Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Lawson has been great, Wood too....What a UDFA pickup Roby was. McKelvin is playing really well too. When Gilmore and Brooks are back healthy, the Bills look set at CB for a while. Also like the way A.Williams is hitting.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I am so glad I listen to the Bills radio feed versus the networks. Many times comments about Wood, Urbick and Lawson are made. Urbik blew open the hole on CJs last big run and Lawson always forced the play back into the teeth of the defense.
Beerball Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Eric Wood and Manny Lawson. They've both been great in both games and we haven't heard hardly a peep about either. Ummmmmmm....who is the third guy?
4merper4mer Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Eric Wood and Manny Lawson. They've both been great in both games and we haven't heard hardly a peep about either. What I love about this thread is that you say there are three players in the title but don't kill the thread by naming them all right away. FWIW I agree with the first two. I can't wait to see the third.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Ummmmmmm....who is the third guy? Maybe Simon the OP??
