NYCBoozers Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Just a great draft. Manuel and Woods seem mature beyond their years. And Kiko just kicks ass.
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Just a great draft. Manuel and Woods seem mature beyond their years. And Kiko just kicks ass. Can';t wait for someone to say Buddy was responsib;le somehow for these studs!
nodnarb Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 He was. He was in charge at the time they were drafted, and is so respected by our current regime that they keep him as a consultant in his retirement. Can';t wait for someone to say Buddy was responsib;le somehow for these studs!

I think its clear to everyone that this wasn't a Buddy draft even if was still the GM at the time Anytime you get 3 starters in the same draft its a great draft and dont forget Goodwin who I really like as well Edited September 15, 2013 by Max997
swnybillsfan Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Just a great draft. Manuel and Woods seem mature beyond their years. And Kiko just kicks ass. it definitely seems as though the bills got this one right with regards to their needs and the talent available. not only that, but the personalities of these individuals seems to be just what you want at their respective positions.
BillnutinHouston Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I think its clear to everyone that this wasn't a Buddy draft even if was still the GM at the time Not clear to me. Nope, not at all. Why would they not push Buddy aside BEFORE the draft if your ADD-inspired hypothesis is true?
nodnarb Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Creating a consensus out of your imagination doesn't equate to reality. Brandon and Whaley made it clear who was in charge of the draft decisions this year, and I think I'll take their word over your odd phantom consensus. I think its clear to everyone that this wasn't a Buddy draft even if was still the GM at the time Anytime you get 3 starters in the same draft its a great draft and dont forget Goodwin who I really like as well
mob16151 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I think its clear to everyone that this wasn't a Buddy draft even if was still the GM at the time Anytime you get 3 starters in the same draft its a great draft and dont forget Goodwin who I really like as well Yea because Buddy hated drafting players with elite physical measurable...................
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Yeah, I was thinking about this as well. All clearly have shown themselves ready to be NFL starters and honestly have exceeded all of my expectations so far. If Goodwin can work back...
Green Lightning Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 God, deal with it. Buddy was a driver in this draft.
Big C Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Kiko > Kuelchy Yep! He definitely outplayed him today. Can't wait to see what he does the rest of the season.
swede316 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I've said this to my friends before...This draft reminds me of the beginning of the Kelly era.....Yes i am comparing but damn these kids are good!
CSBill Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 and add the potential of Goodwin, and FA's Hogan and Robey ..... a good rookie class (I know, technically, Hogan isn't a rookie). Kiko > Kuelchy
Kelly the Dog Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 With no clear #1 QB at all on the board, and the #8 overall pick, getting EJ and Alonzo for the #8 is just fantastic drafting. It's possible that EJ will not be the franchise guy and that Kiko is a flash in the pan. But it looks like an extraordinary trade and picks.
TheBrownBear Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Yeah....but we whiffed on da'rick rogers!
Saint Doug Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Not clear to me. Nope, not at all. Why would they not push Buddy aside BEFORE the draft if your ADD-inspired hypothesis is true? Interesting. Exactly what do you mean by "ADD-inspired". Explain that one.
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Well, they did only take 1 guy from the SEC ... in the 7th round.
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 WHO EFFING CARES if it was a Buddy draft or a Whaley draft? Does it make a damn difference, at this point? It looks right now to be a good draft. I couldn't care less whether the cards were authored by Whaley, Nix, or a toucan.
