Dragonborn10 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Get this offense a TE that is a match up nightmare for the defense. That is the only piece of the puzzle missing. The rest will come with experience...
microscopes Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Chandler is not cutting it. That's for sure.
ny33 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Get this offense a TE that is a match up nightmare for the defense. That is the only piece of the puzzle missing. The rest will come with experience... Colin Brown needs to be replaced.
Big C Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 We could at least activate Gragg and give him a shot next game.
Bossman Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Look at my avatar...that is the answer Okay, besides admitting to a DWI what's he done this year??

zevo Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Okay, besides admitting to a DWI what's he done this year?? He is a gronk clone
Max997 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Get this offense a TE that is a match up nightmare for the defense. That is the only piece of the puzzle missing. The rest will come with experience... Would it really matter with the plays that are being called? How many times can they throw to the TE running a sideline pattern for no yards?
Prickly Pete Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 For years I have said that a TE wasn't the piece that was needed, and that other needs were more glaring. Now it is time. TE is the weakest link on the offense, and the position that an upgrade would have the biggest effect.
fergie's ire Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Yes, Chandler is slow. However, to me it was not his speed but his lack of strength that was a problem today. When you pass the ball to a tight end in the flat, you expect him to be able to bulldoze his way for about 3 or 4 yards. It seemed that Chandler would get hit once (and not terribly hard) and go down. I wonder if he lost some strength when he was injured.

I think he is good, but a very good TE could propel the offense to great things.

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Colin Brown needs to be replaced. He should have never even made the roster; we are really weak there.
ko12010 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 TE and Oline should be top priority next offseason in FA and draft. I'm sure they will be
John from Riverside Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Chandler is a end zone target.....we need a split the seam TE between the 20's
Juice_32 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 We could at least activate Gragg and give him a shot next game. YES! It's Gragg time.
Big Gun Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I like Chandler but he just seems unusually easy to tackle.

If we get our hands on some Gronk/Hernandez type TE"s, watch the heck out.
xsoldier54 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Chandler looks like he is running in quicksand. And then he falls down.
