BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 With Pettine being the exception, perhaps we are witnessing a worse coaching staff than Jauron, Mularkey, Williams. Marrone and Hackett are oblivious at clock management before the half and at the end of games. VERY, VERY concerning. In terms of offensive scheme Gailey > Hackett so far. However, Pettine is a genius. This team would implode if it wasn't for him. Too bad Pettine will be ahead coach next year.
26TrapDraw Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Hacketts O sucks its like he wants to rifle through the whole play book so he can say he ran every play...wtf
Saudi Arabia Rob Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Gosh, this is really frustrating, typical Bills ball...give up the long drive at the end of a half after playing well all half.
Mango Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Gotta call better long yardage plays, otherwise every penalty will kill a drive. also have to let your qb get into a rhythm so he can make those passes. things where better in the 2nd quarter with letting EJ lose a little bit. also effing spread the field at least every once in a while
Bills!Win! Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Should I stop watching now and do something that won't make me mad by 4:00?
K D Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Hackett is killing us. Sure we have a rookie qb but more so we have a rookie coordinator who so far this year has been holding us back. I'd rather see EJ take some chances and make mistakes than be handcuffed by an overly conservative game plan
Lurker Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Correct.....new coach every three years, rebuild again, same results. Come on people...my ignore list is full and it's too damn much trouble to keep pruning it. I'll make one more exception, however...
angryfan62 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 This "No-Huddle" experiment needs to end...And quickly.
NickelCity Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 This is an infuriating game to watch. Lee Smith hold, BS penalty on Searcy, horrible 3rd down playcalls on offense. AAAARRRRGGH
/dev/null Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 During Fox Halftime Terry Bradshaw referred to the Panthers/Bills game as "pretty boring"
Coach Tuesday Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 This is Dick Jauron's offense on cocaine.
l< j Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I don't like the idea of needing a statement drive coming out of the locker room. Need at minimum a sustained drive.
Saudi Arabia Rob Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 The D is playing really good, but if the offense don't stay on the field longer we will be looking at another loss this week, The offense is looking really bad right now. Not converting 3rd downs and EJ is looking very erratic. Overthrown balls and not taking any risks trying to force a few balls to receivers. He keeps playing it safe and he will forever be know as another Trent Edwards. BigPappy I don't know, while not great, they aren't making mistakes and are moving the ball. Penalty killed one drive, odd play calling another. It's clear they are not going to take EJ out of the safe rhythmn he appears to be in. Givnig up that long drive is a killer...may force them to press more on offense in the 2nd.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Yeah, although a small sample Hackett looks in way over his head. Marrone looking very ordinary (conservate punting, field goals) and really dumb in some instances in terms of clock management and challanges.
dave mcbride Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I thought the sercy penalty was absolutely legit. He clearly held him.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 During Fox Halftime Terry Bradshaw referred to the Panthers/Bills game as "pretty boring" I missed that; dozed off a little there.
nucci Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 During Fox Halftime Terry Bradshaw referred to the Panthers/Bills game as "pretty boring" and he is correct
Fixxxer Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 On that last Panthers drive I knew they were getting points, and damn I hate that !@#$ing feeling as a fan.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 On that last Panthers drive I knew they were getting points, and damn I hate that !@#$ing feeling as a fan. Panthers should have never had a chance to drive in their at the end to begin with.
Dorkington Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 On that last Panthers drive I knew they were getting points, and damn I hate that !@#$ing feeling as a fan. Just like in years past, our defense can't stop a team when it's hurry-up.
