With Pettine being the exception, perhaps we are witnessing a worse coaching staff than Jauron, Mularkey, Williams.

Marrone and Hackett are oblivious at clock management before the half and at the end of games. VERY, VERY concerning.

In terms of offensive scheme Gailey > Hackett so far.

However, Pettine is a genius. This team would implode if it wasn't for him. Too bad Pettine will be ahead coach next year.

Gotta call better long yardage plays, otherwise every penalty will kill a drive.

also have to let your qb get into a rhythm so he can make those passes. things where better in the 2nd quarter with letting EJ lose a little bit. also effing spread the field at least every once in a while

Hackett is killing us. Sure we have a rookie qb but more so we have a rookie coordinator who so far this year has been holding us back. I'd rather see EJ take some chances and make mistakes than be handcuffed by an overly conservative game plan

Correct.....new coach every three years, rebuild again, same results.

Come on people...my ignore list is full and it's too damn much trouble to keep pruning it.

I'll make one more exception, however...

The D is playing really good, but if the offense don't stay on the field longer we will be looking at another loss this week, The offense is looking really bad right now. Not converting 3rd downs and EJ is looking very erratic. Overthrown balls and not taking any risks trying to force a few balls to receivers. He keeps playing it safe and he will forever be know as another Trent Edwards.

I don't know, while not great, they aren't making mistakes and are moving the ball. Penalty killed one drive, odd play calling another. It's clear they are not going to take EJ out of the safe rhythmn he appears to be in. Givnig up that long drive is a killer...may force them to press more on offense in the 2nd.

On that last Panthers drive I knew they were getting points, and damn I hate that !@#$ing feeling as a fan.

Just like in years past, our defense can't stop a team when it's hurry-up.
