NoSaint Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 true. I actually think he might stay in another year to get a higher draft status, improve his game and win a championship. while thats possibly (likely) whats best for his development as a player and person, do you think that given all his issues hes had its something he would really do? it would surprise me greatly. wouldnt be the first time i was surprised though.
Cynical Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 I actually think he might stay in another year to get a higher draft status, That 's not going to happen. Apparently you missed his tweet back in June saying how he can't wait to leave College Station. improve his game and win a championship. LMAO! Unless Sumlin can produce a viable defense and/or a balanced offense, the Aggies will never win a championship. With or without Manziel.

With or without Manziel. probably true, their defense is friggin horrible but a lot their players are coming back so maybe some physical maturity might mack them better.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 Subpar performance from Johnny Football. it happens he has been in a slump the last month hopefully he stays in school to work on his game.
Ramius Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 to me it seems he has matured during the season but you never know. Its not called maturing, its called getting your ass kicked enough times you cant do anything else besides shut the hell up.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 Its not called maturing, its called getting your ass kicked enough times you cant do anything else besides shut the hell up. which helps people to mature, plus the hand injury isn't helping.
Ramius Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 which helps people to mature, plus the hand injury isn't helping. Well, he's going to be the most mature NFL player ever, seeing how bad he's going to get destroyed at the next level. The schoolyard sandbox run around and try to make plays through sheer chaos isn't going to work on sundays.

Ramius Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 that's what they told Russell Wilson. Russel Wilson was a very good pocket passer in college and nothing like Manziel. He was a highly developed passer. He could move, but his scrambling was nothing like the "chicken with its head cut off" style of manziel. However, i am not surprised with your lack of ability to pick up subtle nuances (or in this case, not so subtle) in the game of football, NFL or college.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel thinks he's ready for the NFL Johnny Manziel won't reveal a decision on his future until after Texas A&M takes on Duke in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, but if he does decide to stay in school, it won't be because he doesn't think he's ready for the NFL. Manziel said he'll seek advice from others about whether or not he should enter the NFL Draft, but he thinks he's ready for the next level. "In my mind, I think I am," Manziel told reporters. "I feel like I'm playing, for the most part, at a really high level of football. I'm putting the ball where I want it to be and I'm throwing it with a lot of velocity." While Manziel said he's going to use "the next couple of weeks" to talk it over with others before deciding, the general consensus has been that he will leave College Station for the NFL this spring. Manziel certainly wouldn't be the first quarterback in recent years to surprise people by coming back for another season. Andrew Luck and Matt Barkley both come to mind as recent examples, and while another year of school didn't hurt Luck's draft stock, the same can't be said for Barkley. As for which route Manziel will choose to take, we'll all have to wait and see.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 @RapSheet There it is RT @Gil_Brandt: Manziel has officially submitted declaration papers to #NFL for including in ’14 draft, part of 80 underclassmen

Maury Ballstein Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 The Vikings or Raiders will dominate Nfl coverage soon. Few mocks I saw had him going oak or minn. Buckle up. It's gonna be a fun ride. I like the kid hope he crushes it.

NewEra Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I hope he sucks if he's not a Bill. Although I think he'll be a legit starter, as long as he's healthy.
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I think he's going to get exposed big time & have all his teammates hate him but it will be interesting, that's for sure.
Wayne Cubed Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I'm not a fan and don't think the Bills will have a shot at him anyways, but at least he's using his head: @ProFootballTalk: Manziel will spend next few months training with QB guru http://t.co/BOeVAuvltD

Personally, I just don't see how his game will translate to the pros. But whatever team drafts him will be on ESPN a lot.
