DC Tom Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 CNN Screen Shot: At the moment Sebelius testifies that the Obamacare website hasn't crashed...CNN is online at the crashed website. Technically she's right. That's not a crash. That's a well-designed feature that informs the user of an application fault rather than have it crash. Good job. About the only thing they developed correctly. Probably because they knew they needed at least THAT feature to work.

Anyone stupid enough to vote for this administration twice will never understand what you wrote. So unfortunately for the WH, live by the dumbass, die by the dumbass.
keepthefaith Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 The Obamacare lie is the one that Dems won't be able to run from as a high percentage of the population will be directly affected via changes in coverage, increased cost, a change in benefits or all of these. Unlike most untruths spread by libs and the lib media, nearly everyone will look at the TV or computer display and know they're being told a load of bull on this one. This will make skeptics of many. Imagine if even just a portion of a more skeptical media starts reporting more accurately on issues like debt and immigration. This could put a big dent into public support of Obama and Reid's bogus agenda. We can only hope. It's amazing how the party that occupies the White house screws up during nearly every President's tenure. So Presidential voters flip-flop back and forth between parties in fairly predictable patterns. Hopefully independents are paying close attention right now. The next 12.5 months are gonna be fun to watch.
IDBillzFan Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 This could put a big dent into public support of Obama and Reid's bogus agenda. It starts here: Obama approvals at an all-time low. That's a lot of racists.
DC Tom Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 This line of questioning was for DC Tom: Why must men buy maternity care? Not that I particularly want to defend Sebelius...but the law prohibits discrimination by gender in health care. So naturally, that means the implementation of a law that fails to account for the facts that 1) health insurance is not health care and 2) men and women have different needs with respect to medical care will naturally result in men being required to buy maternity coverage, in order to not discriminate in the provision of health care to women. It's not Sebelius' fault that the law was written by complete idiots. This is the part where birddog will chime in and say "why can't we wind back the clock on this policy with good intentions and bad results" in 20 years. A couple weeks after the web site is fixed and most people have forgotten, they'll spin this on the insurance companies. "You could have kept the insurance you liked, but the insurance companies cancelled those polices so they could make more money off the backs of the middle class."

Conversely woman should now have coverage for ED. Nice little perk there. Woman can get a prescription and give the pills to any of their partners that they feel need it. That and you are so right about insurance companies teed up to be demonized.

He called some providers “bad apple insurers” who employed unethical practices to profit off their customers without providing adequate benefits. DC Tom Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 http://www.mediaite....ew-marketplace/ Can you give me tomorrow's lottery number's por favor? 3.5, 3.5, 3.5, 3.5, 3.5, and a Powerball number of 6 - no, just kidding. Powerball number's 3.5. If you don't win, not my fault. Powerball's obviously wrong.
boyst Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Well. South Park did pretty good wrapping this mess up. It'll be on again 12am EST Thursday for those who missed it.
IDBillzFan Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Sharyl Attkisson continues to be the raspberry seed in the WH wisdom tooth. She reports that ALL early tests of the website failed. But hey...if you like your health care plan, you can shop for a new one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDtF887eXHo
/dev/null Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Well. South Park did pretty good wrapping this mess up. It'll be on again 12am EST Thursday for those who missed it. And they added a nice little dig at Tom Brady
B-Man Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 "In Barack Obama’s Washington, 'taking responsibility' doesn’t mean what it means elsewhere." ‘Whatever’ are you babbling about, Kathleen Sebelius? By John Podhoretz THE FIRST RULE OF OBAMACARE CLUB IS DON’T TALK ABOUT OBAMACARE CLUB: Report: White House exerting ‘massive pressure’ on insurance companies to keep quiet about problems. BYRON YORK: In health care mess, Obama reaps what he sowed. The in-your-face behavior of the Obama/Pelosi/Reid team isn’t inspiring any charity from the opposition, either. Nor should it. Investor’s Business Daily: Obama’s “Keep Your Plan” Lie Was Key To Getting ObamaCare Enacted. “Obama’s ‘keep your plan’ pledges were perfectly precise. By making this false claim and repeating it over and over again, he was able to convince those who had insurance that they’d be immune from ObamaCare.” .
Azalin Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 And they added a nice little dig at Tom Brady the best show on TV, imo
B-Man Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Obama’s oft-repeated lie that “if you like your health insurance, you can keep it” did not stop with the passage of Obamacare. He repeatedly assured Americans after the enactment of Obamacare that those who liked their health insurance would be able to keep it. Indeed, the lie was a staple of his 2012 campaign. He didn’t backdate it. Nevertheless, some of you who were happy with your insurance shouldn’t have been. You were dealing with “bad apple” insurers who were taking advantage of you. You were a chump. Dr. Obama is here from the government, and he is here to help you. “If you’re getting one of these [cancellation] letters,” don’t sweat it. “Just shop around in the new marketplace — that’s what it’s for.” Even if your policy has been cancelled, “nobody is losing their right to health care coverage.” Even so, Obama slightly modifies this particular foundational lie: “For the vast majority of people who have health insurance that works, you can keep it”. That’s not the way I remember it, but thanks, bub .

That’s not the way I remember it, but thanks, bub The argument from the left now is that the reason Obamacare sucks is because so many states didn't set up an exchange, and that is the fault of the GOP. Fortunately, there are many states that do have an exchange...like Oregon, which has signed up exactly no one, and Vermont, where $170M was spent on an exchange that still doesn't work, and has no honest date for when it will work. Damn you, obstructionist teabaggercruzcheneyrummy!!!
Chef Jim Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/obamacare-unintended-losers-152316725.html Obama did not tell us this was coming," adds Newman, "and now the White House is saying it's only 5% of the U.S. population What's a measly 5% anyway.
