GG Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Geno has looked like garbage since the start of the 2nd quarter. I wonder if it had anything to do with Jets having zero running game, and Jets blew their offensive wad in the first quarter?
Badasss Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 This is one of the most boring games I've watched in a while. It's almost as bad as a NYG-Dallas Cowboys' game (if that's possible).
San Jose Bills Fan Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I wonder if it had anything to do with Jets having zero running game, and Jets blew their offensive wad in the first quarter? Another factor seemed to be that the Cheatriots*** weren't pressuring Geno in the first quarter.
microscopes Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Brady looks like crap too. And you can't just blame his WR's. He's throwing balls behind and in front of receivers.

muffmonster Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 So were the Stevie and Chandler drops for the Bills but all of these drops go in the category of "should have been caught," IMO. I agree, I was poking fun at Stevie's comments from his drop.

Have to disagree. Besides the three egregious drops, Brady missing targets can also be attributed to his two rookie receivers not knowing where they're supposed to be. I agree, I was poking fun at Stevie's comments from his drop. That's a high level of nuance!
microscopes Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Have to disagree. Besides the three egregious drops, Brady missing targets can also be attributed to his two rookie receivers not knowing where they're supposed to be. 1) I doubt Thompkins was supposed to be 1 foot slower on the slant where he had to reach his left arm back and make a one handed catch. 2) I also doubt Edelmen, who has been on the team for years, was two feet too far out on the inside screen. 3) He overthrew Thompkins in the endzone on that halftime TD play. A couple inches back and that's an easy TD. Just my opinion.
iinii Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 The patsy lovefest is sickening. Refs, commentators, all the kool aid drinking is making me want hurl.

Besides the three egregious drops, Brady missing targets can also be attributed to his two rookie receivers not knowing where they're supposed to be. You are right. As much as I dislike Brady, he is probably the most accurate passer in the game. The bad misses were clearly the result of receivers not being where they are supposed to be. You need only to watch Brady's reaction after the misses. Without Amendola and Sudfeld, his receiving corps has been embarassing. It is the only reason the Jets are in this game.
BringBackFergy Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Rain bodes well for better running game
San Jose Bills Fan Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Rain bodes well for better running game Is that a good thing? BTW, the over/under on this game is 43 points. Beautiful ball by Geno.
Badasss Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Geno's doing alright!! We shoulda drafted him (maybe).
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Brady looks like crap too. And you can't just blame his WR's. He's throwing balls behind and in front of receivers. Some people think when a QB does that, it may have something to do with his receivers. of course, I'm sure you've watched and excluded that possibility from the commercially broadcast game. The patsy lovefest is sickening. Refs, commentators, all the kool aid drinking is making me want hurl. It does, that.
BringBackFergy Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Is that a good thing? BTW, the over/under on this game is 43 points. Beautiful ball by Geno. Good for Jets who have the stronger running game I suppose. #77 Howard got his bell rung by Mayo on that last run..
YoloinOhio Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Just checking in to say... both teams look kind of sucky. Geno throws a nice deep ball but so did Jeff George. Something about him... I just don't like.

There are a lot of passes when it can be the WR. Throwing a pass BEHIND the WR on a SLANT is never the WR. Sorry.

BILLS 4 EVER Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I wish we would have played the Patriots I see tonight. We would have won.
