San Jose Bills Fan Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Maybe they respect the Jets running game more than ours?? Either that, or Wannstache is in the booth Belichick actually has a long history of contain-type pass rushes. Some QBs get real nervous when they're trapped in the pocket. I wonder if he's trying to see how Geno reacts to this? Conventional wisdom of course is that you pressure a rookie QB.
zow2 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Geno had such ridiculous stats in college it's not surprising he can play. The media seemed down on him in preseason though. He's looked better than I thought he would.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 No offense, but perhaps that is part of the losing mentality at work. As if we feel ourselves competing for #2. That's exactly it.

Mayock suggested something like that - said Geno should stay in the pocket longer. Seems to be paying off. Bill B may adjust at half with more stunts maybe.
boyst Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Maybe they respect the Jets running game more than ours?? Either that, or Wannstache is in the booth the jets o line is very good. Perhaps they realize its futile.
BringBackFergy Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Woo hop...Brady can still air it out.
Pilsner Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Both teams have pretty bad wideouts right now. Jests have a fullback named Bohannon. Now if they only had a Swede.

He's looked better than I thought he would. There's never been any question about his physical talents. the jets o line is very good. Perhaps they realize its futile. Wilfork gets nice push and disruption but the Cheatriots*** only legit edge rusher is Chandler Jones and he's far from elite.
BringBackFergy Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 the jets o line is very good. Perhaps they realize its futile. Evident in how well Ivory and Powell are rushing and good protection for Geno...look forward to seeing how our guys match up against that O line.

BRAWNDO Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 There's the NFL rule book, then there's the Patriot rule book. Could have predicted that fumble would be overturned. The Pats Book only has one page and states "Just give it to them"
Pilsner Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Something just whizzed by overhead. Just a reference to Hell on Wheels.

They're averaging 4 yards per carry, same as the Bills last week. Brick and Mangold are good. Not sold on the other guys. I don't believe the Jets O-line is better than ours.
zow2 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Ok, well they're rushing Geno like crazy now and he's panicking. I think that's what you need to do to this young QB.. Bills take note.
Big Turk Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Geno has made a few nice throws so far, but he really has happy feet and runs around a lot at the slightest hint of pressure...
BringBackFergy Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Is it me or does Geno seem somewhat quiet/disengaged from the other players?? Is it modesty? Or still have a chip on his shoulder being a second rounder??
