run dat back Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Geno: 1 TD, 4 INTs, 1 Fumble lost. I'm loving it. And Rex is a terrible head coach, the sooner he goes the better.
/dev/null Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 How long would it take to try to rehab the shoulder without surgery ? And is there a guarantee he can throw effectively and without pain ? Reminds me of the Ron White You Can't Fix Stupid routine. In Sanchez' case, it doesn't matter how many surgeries or how long he rehabs. You can't fix sucks
run dat back Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 If Sanchez is foregoing surgery because he's worried about losing the starting job....dude, they just drafted a QB. You're done. Now go fix your shoulder.
K D Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 Looks like Jets just placed Sanchez on short term IR meaning he can't practice for 6 weeks. Looks like they are moving forward with Geno for a while at least!
Glory Bound Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 yeah, that hair band just screams "WINNER" Ha! Thanks for the gut laugh! Think about it...half of QB'ing is decision making. He actually made the "decision" to sport those hair bands. Who could trust his ability to make decisions after that? I wonder if he was wearing it on the butt fumble play...

BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 and now Mark in on IR designated to return.
GA BILLS FAN Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I think Sanchez is done in NY, question is, where will he land next year ? --- 2014 QB draft class is DEEP --- Sanchez might struggle to find work as a backup
prissythecat Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 NFL.com is reporting that Sanchez is going with the surgery finally. He is now done for season. Was unlikely that he would have been able to forego the surgery to begin with. He is probably done with the Jets at this point if Geno continues to show some potential . Do you think the Bills should consider bringing him in as a vet backup? He did take his team to the AFC championships two years in a row.

His upside is marginal success, at best. Let him try to accomplish that somewhere else.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I think Sanchez is done in NY, question is, where will he land next year ? --- 2014 QB draft class is DEEP --- Sanchez might struggle to find work as a backup The QB class may be deep, but the supply of veteran backups with some ability to play in the NFL is short.
Passepartout Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Well Sanchez is out for the season. Plus his Jets career is over and done!
K D Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 I'm sad. Not for Sanchez but for the fact that I had been holding out hope he would come back in the next few weeks demanding the QB job and it would turn into a circus and then Geno would play 1 bad game and the idiot fans would demand he be benched thus killing his confidence. Oh well, it could still happen. They are high on Simms so maybe he will emerge as the starter some time during the season
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 who's butt fumble won? Shankchez's or Gino's?
