C.Biscuit97 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Bills suck for 13 years and still sell out most games...Jacksonville sucked for 2 years and gets nobody anymore... Just shows how remarkable the situation in Buffalo is...don't know of many other places with our track record that would still regularly sell out games...maybe Green Bay, Cleveland and Pittsburgh?? That's about it tho.. NE... Whoops, they almost got re-located in the early 90s and in 2001, their fanbase tripled.

BuffaloBaumer Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 the section that reads: That was taken with less than 2 minutes left in the game - I would have been long gone too
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Well, one could make the argument that their fans are smart. They know their team sucks, but unlike Bills fans, don't blindly waste their hard earned money on a inferior product year after year. Up until the last 5 seconds, the tailgate and game were as good as any I ever went to. But I'll never buy seasons for that very reason. I love to pick & choose games.
steviejohnsonfan Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 From the thread title it sounded like someone was executing NFL fans Aaron Hernandez style. The simple fact that ownership didn't have the sense to bring in Tebow just to fill seats tells me all I need to know about that franchise. They're not committed to winning nor are they committed to selling tickets. Fans are probably smart to stay home.

Storm Front Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The Bills actually used to have trouble filling the Ralph for playoff games when we were a winning franchise. Maybe Ralph was onto something with the losing product: Hope sells.
Dr. Fong Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Have they sold one of their 8 home games to another country to make bank? Ummm http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9404750/shad-khan-says-jacksonville-jaguars-focused-london
plenzmd1 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 to be fair, it is 28-2 , with an offence that has the worst QB in the league. I am not sure, but my guess it was hot, beer was expensive, no chance to win....same scenario at Rich and I am somewhere else, anywhere else besides my seat, as well.

nucci Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I remember Rich Stadium in '76, '77, '84 and '85 looking close to that. 19-20K at most games.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Redskins and New York Giants, probably. Possibly Baltimore. That's all I can think of. I question Baltimore because they really haven't been bad since they were stolen from Cleveland. But NYC and Washington metro are like top 5 populations. Bills' fans have an unhealthy sickness in supporting this team.

yungmack Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Have they sold one of their 8 home games to another country to make bank? They are in the process of making London (England, not Ontario) part of their "market," with at least one home game a year there. This is happening with the NFL's blessing.
CBD Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Have they sold one of their 8 home games to another country to make bank? Yes, 4 of them http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8289496/jacksonville-jaguars-play-four-home-games-london

Mark Vader Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Ummm http://espn.go.com/n...-focused-london Wow, I clicked on the link and the headline reads: "Khan: Team focused on London" And right above the headline is an advertisement for "Star Trek: Into Darkness"
Just in Atlanta Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 You're right. The Jags are a better franchise than the Bills. Won't don't you go post there? And judging by the amount of Canadians I have made at Bills' games, regionalization (however you spell it) has been pretty successful. I've always suspected Canadians were made.
