PromoTheRobot Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) How does this city justify having a team? PTR Edited September 10, 2013 by PromoTheRobot
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 How does this city justify having a team? PTR Well, it does have a high school named after the founder of the KKK, so that's pretty big time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_Bedford_Forrest_High_School_(Jacksonville) If I was their owner with no ties to the area, I'd be on the phone with LA right now.
Nostradumbass Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So we need to crack on another city right now why?
l< j Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Wow. Just wow. If they moved, who would notice?
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So we need to crack on another city right now why? Because it's insulting to hear about the Bills moving when franchises like this exist. The Jags have even made the playoffs several times in the last decade.
Nostradumbass Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Because it's insulting to hear about the Bills moving when franchises like this exist. The Jags have even made the playoffs several times in the last decade. Have they sold one of their 8 home games to another country to make bank?
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) Have they sold one of their 8 home games to another country to make bank? You're right. The Jags are a better franchise than the Bills. Won't don't you go post there? And judging by the amount of Canadians I have made at Bills' games, regionalization (however you spell it) has been pretty successful. Edited September 10, 2013 by C.Biscuit97
Nostradumbass Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 You're right. The Jags are a better franchise than the Bills. Won't don't you go post there? How about I just not focus on what another cheap @$$ terribly run franchise is doing and instead focus on the cheap @$$ crappy run franchise that I cheer for
Lv-Bills Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Where in the article does it actually say that was mid game?
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 How about I just not focus on what another cheap @$$ terribly run franchise is doing and instead focus on the cheap @$$ crappy run franchise that I cheer for I love when people say they don't care about something yet post in the thread.
eball Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Ladies and gentlemen, introducing your London Jaguars!
Nostradumbass Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I love when people say they don't care about something yet post in the thread. I didn't say I didn't care What I'm infering is when the Bills organization is a properly functioning one without organizational and economic issues, that's the moment I'll start chucking rocks at glass buildings
Jamie Nails Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Is it going to be tough to get a ticket to the Bills game down there in December?
NoSaint Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Where in the article does it actually say that was mid game? the section that reads: Yep, that's an actual NFL stadium during a game. The Jaguars were losing 28-2 and the crowd had no reason to stick around, but still. There wasn't any reason to stick around. There probably wasn't much reason to come in the first place.
eball Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Is it going to be tough to get a ticket to the Bills game down there in December? Only if you want to sit on the actual bench with the team.
MOFO Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Why don't they get Tebow just to fill the stadium in 3...2...1...
Big Turk Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Bills suck for 13 years and still sell out most games...Jacksonville sucked for 2 years and gets nobody anymore... Just shows how remarkable the situation in Buffalo is...don't know of many other places with our track record that would still regularly sell out games...maybe Green Bay, Cleveland and Pittsburgh?? That's about it tho..
CodeMonkey Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Yikes that's even fewer than the second half of a non-kids-day preseason game at the Ralph.
NoSaint Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Only if you want to sit on the actual bench with the team. at that point a lot of guys are on IR - if you ask nice, they might let you suit up.
DDD Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) Well, one could make the argument that their fans are smart. They know their team sucks, but unlike Bills fans, don't blindly waste their hard earned money on a inferior product year after year. Edited September 10, 2013 by DDD
