MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 No. Their team put up a better fight against the Steelers' FIRST string, and IN Pittsburgh. They almost won if not for their kicker.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Nah. Thats dick. We also got humilated by 2nd and 3rd stringers in the last game of the season against Pittsburgh. 206707 Exactly. Despite our mind-boggling win over them, the Jets are a much better and much more complete team than the Bills. Period.
duey Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 What can we say..."Ha ha...you went into Pittsburgh and lost a close game to their starters, while we couldn't beat their second stringers in our own house." Ha ha. Boy, we sure got them.

When we played ANY semblance of real Competition, the team looked terrible.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Well, the Jets shouldn't have sat on their asses in the last minute......they had an opportunity to get another 10 yards or so. Why do teams lollygag when they have the chance to put a team away. Also, why didn't they at least run the ball into the middle of the field. None of this is to excuse Doug Brien, the goat of all goats in these playoffs. You should do what you possibly can to make the kick as automatic as possible. NEVER leave the game in the hands of a kicker, unless his name is Vinatieri.

Alaska Darin Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Exactly. Despite our mind-boggling win over them, the Jets are a much better and much more complete team than the Bills. Period. 206760 No they're not. But don't let the fact that they haven't scored an offensive TD against the Steelers in 3 years get in the way of your crusade. The team that determined who won the game today was Pittsburgh - from start to finish.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Ding ding ding ding! We have a winner. 206812 This is why there should be a law stating that Herman Edwards can only enter the town of Orchard Park, NY as a coach or assistant coach of any team other than the Buffalo Bills.
taterhill Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 It boggles my mind that Herm did the same thing as Marty last week...sometimes I wonder if Joe fan could do as well coaching a pro football team

They came close TWICE to beating Shittsburgh on THEIR field. We couldn't beat their backups on ours.
