BillsFanM.D. Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I was shocked he made it back on the field Sunday the way he was hobbling around. I'll bet he plays. This sounds Bellicheckean.
BringBackFergy Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 It figures we had to be the victims of his most clutch performance in 2 years...he'll be healthy and ready to return just in time for Week 16.
KD in CA Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So both Amendola and Vereen were hurt so badly on Sunday they are going to miss the next game (or more). But both managed to stick it out long enough to kill the Bills. That just pisses me off.
Pneumonic Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The Pats have what amounts to a bye the next two weeks so might as well rest them both up in order to help heal what ails them.

But both managed to stick it out long enough to kill the Bills. That just pisses me off. This was kind of my thought. But i also would rather of played them at close to full strength the way the Bills did. The Vets on the Bills got to feel better about that lose then maybe a few wins from the Gailey/Fitz era. Bills played the Pats straight up and barely lost.

These guys played hurt, but Byrd won't play until he's 100% Good luck with trying to be the highest paid safety in the league!

Yup, its gotta feel great to know that you came close to beating the Pats, and getting Torched by an injured Amendola and Vereen. Moral Victory!
The Big Cat Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 While the eeked by us, and while that sucks, any Patriots* loss is good for us. I've had a gut feeling they're going to drop one to New York Thursday. Wouldn't that be !@#$ing insane?
prissythecat Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The Pats have what amounts to a bye the next two weeks so might as well rest them both up in order to help heal what ails them. Lol. So they don't need to suit up for the Jets for instance?

But both managed to stick it out long enough to kill the Bills. That just pisses me off. That catch at the end of the game that Amendola made was unreal & was a killer. I bet 95% of the receivers in the NFL do not make that catch.

Who gives a damn about the opponent being at 'full strength'. Did you see K Williams' interview? This team needs to win, period.
thewildrabbit Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Figures that the two guys that really stood out for the Patriots against Buffalo won't play against the Jets this Thursday due to injuries.
DDD Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 http://www.cbssports...-thursday-night this guy is made of glass. Any relation to Tim Connolly?
MOFO Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 That was one of those gritty performanced that makes it hard to hate the guy...I still hate the guy...but it makes it hard...

Have you seen any of the player interviews on BB.com? They truly seem pissed off that they lost the game, especially because its the Patriots. I'm fairly confident that no one on the team feels good about losing another close game to that team.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 ...you know, if the Jets somehow squeeze out another upset win, this time on the Patriots, I may go crazy.
The Big Cat Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 ...you know, if the Jets somehow squeeze out another upset win, this time on the Patriots, I may go crazy. Though it does always seem to happen this way, and while that would be a temporary kick in the pants, I'm actually kinda hoping it happens...

I always root for the Jets > Pats, but after the celebration over their cheap-ass win against Tampa, I think I might be ok with another Jets ass beating by Brady & Co.
