\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The North Texas Tollway Authority runs the toll roads around the DFW area, and they use electronic tolling equipment (no toll booths). If you do not get a toll tag on your car, they will scan your license plate and send you a bill. If you do not pay, they add penalties, and now they have the ability to prevent you from renewing your car registration if your tolls are not paid. They have become more aggressive in going after violators, and now they publish a list of the repeat offenders, which gets updated periodically. Here's the list, sorted alphabetically: https://www.ntta.org/custinfo/Habitual_Violators/Documents/HV062013_alpha_by_lastname.pdf And showing up on the list, we have: Dez Bryant $162 Tony Romo $1632 Deion Sanders $1035
G-Daddy Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Some people think the rules don't apply to them.

I had a short commute to work but still spent about $100 or so per month on road tolls. I hate to think what it would have been if I had to commute on toll roads.
