I couldn't tell you about the changes to tailgating in the stadium lots as I was not near them.

Walking to the stadium: Heard alot about the new laws regarding open alcohol containers on public roads/walkways around the stadium. Saw many people who had them, and nobody get hassled about it.

Approaching the gates: Supposedly they had increased the distance from the stadium into which you could not bring alcohol. Didn't notice this at all. Those that brought their beers with them still drank them near the gates.

At the gates: Had a person at each gate with a bullhorn who was reading a prepared script about the new measures. Everyone still took everything metal out of pockets. Used to have separate lines for guys & girls - no more. Since no pat downs, they had male & female security handling male & female fans. They wanded everyone. Didn't se anybody turned away for anything disallowed. It took maybe 2 minutes to get through, at about 12:15 PM.

During the game: Noticeably more uniformed sheriff patrols, stadium personnel, and security going up and down the sections in the lower bowl.

I still had quite the fan sitting behind us who's vocabulary consisted of slitting their throats and F'n F....... all game long. Some people shouldn't be allowed in public.

I noticed a deputy in the club. I guess it was a new precaution in case Biff and Buffy started a scene if the Artisan Cheeses ran out.

There was little different then 10 hrs ago in my eyes that texting security thing was a joke. A guy was just being loud with his group. Nothing at all near the line. Not even close ti be over it. Twp new england fans had him pulled but many people said he did nothing and he came back. They were prick Boston cops they said. And warned the guy and taunted him. He said they needed to shut up and watch the game.... they tested security. And yeah. F boston

Seems like that might be an interesting story there. Wish I could understand what you were saying. Edited by BillnutinHouston

I too saw a couple standing the whole time in my section and getting lippy when asked to sit. Cops came and walked them up the steps. I was very surprised to see them back in those seats later in the game.

I did not know there was changes. We brought beers for the walk from ECC, and in fact we had about a 5 minute conversation with a cop right outside the gates as we were drinking them.he never batted an eye or told us to put em away.

I must say I was a little louder yesterday than normal, lot of Pats fans near us, but we all had a great time.

I was exhausted. It made sense at the time. Haha

Two Boston cops were being party poopers early on. When the Pats were on offense and it was loud they got upset they had to stand and did not like that many would face them and cheer when the turnout was favorable of the Bills. They picked on one guy and said he needs to calm down. He ignored them and they kept telling the group behind them to stop moving so much. They were somewhat in the middle so people getting up or down may have bumped them. Eventually they said they were Boston cops and they were not going to take it. At some point they got security. They came and got the one guy and 3 people far enough away from him including myself said his behavior was not that bad. Security didnt even pay attention to this but he came back and acted just the same. There were a dozen others in this section that acted worse

awe. Boston cops. I wish that would have happened to me. First I would have pulled out my badge and told then to piss off. Then when security came down, I'd probably give my buddy a handshake since I work with about a third of them and laughed at the Boston scum.
