CountryCletus Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 What could they do to guard against broken bones? Bubble wrap?
Dorkington Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Bubble wrap? Way to be on the ball, chief.
Jamie Nails Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 So...I'd expect we sign another cb, no? If we didn't have to carry two damn kickers.
mountainwampus Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 NOOO! Brooks looked so good yesterday! Goodwin played... well, he's fast. Tough breaks.
KOKBILLS Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Robey actually looked pretty good yesterday. He did...And he's going to play just about every down now...So...He better be good...
kasper13 Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Inactive list is mostly injured players who don't practice. IR some of these guys and bring in guys who can at least practice. No depth is going to hurt.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 I wasn't wondering, but thanks for the info Chris: @ChrisBrownBills For those wondering, Bucs worked out former #Bills CB Crezdon Butler today per Natl Football Post. http://ow.ly/oHYw8
The Avenger Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Wow - we are rapidly approaching when the the Bills will have a contest to see which lucky fan goes from the parking lot to the game field as a starting cornerback...
nucci Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I'm not too worried about Goodwin as the Bills are loaded at WR, but losing Brooks, considering the Bills are already thin at CB definitely hurts. What??
NickelCity Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2013/09/09/marrone-usually-fills-position-holes-in-house/ Bills head coach Doug Marrone was asked if they’d be making a roster move to sign another free agent cornerback with Ron Brooks out indefinitely with a broken foot that requires surgery. Marrone laid out his philosophy when it comes to filling holes on their roster at a specific position. “I believe if you have players on your practice squad you bring them up and then you go out and find players for your practice squad,” said Marrone. ”Unless you don’t have those players in the building then you go out and look for them. When you lose players for an amount of time you have to have a little vision to see who the teams are that are coming up to see if you’re going to need more players at that position and make that decision.” Buffalo has Brandon Burton, who they just signed last week, as well as rookie CB Johnny Adams on the practice squad. Marrone said he’ll meet with his coordinators to determine a course of action. Grumble grumble...hopefully Pettine asks for a solid FA signing.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Remember that Goodwin is also our primary KO returner. His absence made TJ go out there and he bobbled the kickoff in the mid 4th quarter which required him to take it out and get tackled inside the 15.

Good point and it's too risky to put McKelvin back there because if he gets injuried, we are beyond screwed.

His absence made TJ go out there and he bobbled the kickoff in the mid 4th quarter which required him to take it out and get tackled inside the 15. Not exactly. TJ dropped the ball 7 yards deep, then made a conscious decision to take it out, then he stopped on the 2, then he realized he had better start running.
