Some gun owners have told the manufacturers they will no longer buy guns made in New York because of the new law. And that has led other states to aggressively pursue New York gun manufacturers, with offers of economic development funds, tax breaks and cheaper and more welcoming climates in which to do business. Alaska Darin
Wait, so there are repercussions that politicians gave no thought to when ramming through this law? I'm surprised.
IDBillzFan
Wait, so there are repercussions that politicians gave no thought to when ramming through this law? I'm surprised. I saw an article yesterday about the site where Chick-Fil-A was putting a new restaurant near a Home Depot in Chicago. When the chain owner's comments against gay marriage became the liberal call to arms, Rahm and company announced there was no room in Chicago for that kind of business...and a year later, the lot is an empty pile of weeds. Fortunately, everyone in Chicago has a job, so the 100+ jobs won't be missed. And this isn't about gay marriage. It's about politicians not thinking things through. Political actions have consequences............you'd think NYS would know that by now. 1 Year After Alderman's War on Chick-fil-A, Site Sits Vacant, 200 Jobs Lost http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/09/07/1-Year-After-Alderman-s-War-on-Chick-fil-A-Site-Sits-Vacant-200-Jobs-Lost
/dev/null
Magpul has already said they are leaving Colorado. While they do not make firearms they do make magazines, stocks, sights, and other accessories They held a send off event a couple months ago right before Colorado's new laws went to effect, where they gave away over a thousand 30 round magazines
