bisonbrigade Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 (edited) Where do you think EJ Manuel will be in comparison to past Buffalo QB's?? Edited September 6, 2013 by bisonbrigade
Pondslider Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 (edited) Jim Ballard mixed with Daryl Lamonica with a pinch of James Harris. Edited September 6, 2013 by Pondslider
BillsFan130 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 none of the above. completely different style of QB than any of them
Meatloaf Sandwich Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 He Won't compare to any. If he plays like Jimbo we lose b.c Jim played when 20 passes was a lot.
GOBILLS78 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 No idea, but I am pretty sure he'll be the best they've had since Bledsoe. I know, I'm really going out on a limb here.
shibuya Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I think he'll be better the Kelly in the long run. Keeping in mind in today's NFL, Kelly's stats were pedestrian in comparison to today's top QB's
atlbillsfan1975 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I think he'll be better the Kelly in the long run. Keeping in mind in today's NFL, Kelly's stats were pedestrian in comparison to today's top QB's Jim Kelly would be Ben Roethlisberger today. Do not kid yourself. That is kind of how i see EJ playing.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 How about we let the man play a game first?
bobobonators Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I see him as a cross between ben the rapist and russel wilson
Dorkington Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Skill? Probably on the Flutie level. Record? Probably on the Fitzpatrick level.
KGun12TD Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 He'll be the first Super Bowl winning QB in Buffalo!
Major Mud Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 If he could have Flutie's improv skills, with Kelly's toughness, and Bledsoe's arm, I would be quite satisfied. Seriously though I have watched him as an FSU fan for the last three years closely, he is not an all-pro. But he has a confidence, a commanding presence, with a fun and friendly attitude that makes you root for the guy. Lets watch him play some real games before we really form an opinion of him.
GOBILLS78 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Where's the Billy Joe Hobart option? Right there, under Travis Brown.
Charles Romes Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 If he could have Flutie's improv skills, with Kelly's toughness, and Bledsoe's arm, I would be quite satisfied. Kelly had every bit the arm of Bledsoe.
SF Bills Fan Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I went with flutie only because I think he is more of a running threat. that said, I think he is completely different than all of them.
run dat back Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Where do you think EJ Manuel will be in comparison to past Buffalo QB's?? Way too early for this. Let him play a full season at least before comparing him to anyone.
Clutchwarfare Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 none of the above. completely different style of QB than any of them Agree 100%
